KTF says

"The "n" word is probably the single most offensive word to a black person in the English language."

Listen to Rap much?

Poor analogy, RPK and you know it!

Granted, this board and it's threads do tend to  go off into a million different directions, but RPK I think the one who is redirecting is you.

Really?.......How so?........You feel that it is acceptable in a catchy rhythm?

RPK, I would probably not appear on Fox if I were Obama. There is no need for him to do so.

Given the Fox audience, let's face it he is not going to be able to "persuade the unpersuadable" to quote someone else who used the expression in the context of the "birthers".

But it is the Fox Audience who he needs to reach. Why not have a "TRANSPARENT" and frank discussion? Maybe it would show me that Fox is not Fair and Balanced.

by keepthefaith on 04 August 2009 - 03:08

Come, come, RPK.

Blacks sometimes use the word to address each other - and it does not have the same connotation. The same applies to rap music.

But if you don't see the difference then I shall take it as another example of it being impossible to "persuade the unpersuadable".

Well I am going to call it quits.

The concept of taking ownership of racial epithets is lost on many....

Why is it that just because this person is black it is automatically racism?

Have you ever thought, just for once, that he is a socialist with Marxist tendencies and that is the sole reason why I do not what he's doing?

Once you get the racism out of your way of thinking then maybe you can realize that I do not like his political views and especially do no like the road he is taking this country.

Cap and trade, socialized health insurance, take overs of public enterprises, bowing down to foreign leaders, going abroad and trashing America.........his actions and legislation is what makes me sick, not his color.

I dislike his as much as FDR and LBJ and they were not persons of color, they were socialist...........any time the government want to extort money from the rich and give it to the poor I ............

what's the use?
