Both Obama and McCain will have a draft to support their near identical policies. That's what pisses off the Military most I think, there is next to no difference between them. Yet they speak as if there is on the campaign trails.. the media goes along with it .. except for maybe cafferty, beck and a few others.

Soooo in 230+ years in American History .. NEVER was compulsory military service of ladies been a demand by congress. .......... the new Bill says "require all persons" .. this means all persons 18-42 to include, young ladies, young mothers, mothers, office workers, cheese burger flippers, babysitters, stay at home moms, etc. Like how many stay at home moms, burger flippers, babysitters.. do you know that want to go to the front line of fire ? I at least had a choice. It's a shame our children will not. House of Rockefeller representative Congressman Charles Rangle submitted this Bill. Bastards.

Why is the Los Angeles Times suppressing the video of Obama praising Rashid Khalidi?
La Times says it won't release the video because it promised the source it wouldn't. Keeping promises is noble, but it would be more noble still not to make promises that conflict with professional obligations. Imagine any MSM outlet agreeing to suppress video of McCain toasting Timothy McVeigh.

Most people don't realize, that this current financial crisis, was thanks to the Democratic President Bill Clinton, forcing banks to give loans to people who did not qualify.
The reasons for the current financial crisis are much more complicated than you have stated including the repeal of Glass-Steagal in a bill co-sponsored by Phil Gramm - McCain's economic advisor. The mindless call for deregulation was a big part of the problem and as Greenspan testified he was wrong in thinking that deregulation would result in self-policing by banks and other financial institutions.
But let us say that you are right in the above statement, Bush and the Republican Congress could have reversed Clinton's policies. Most of the toxic mortgages were made during the Bush administration.
