Re: Kronos...that's one of the ugliest noses and heads I've ever seen on a VA dog!!  What Smile

I have a friend who owns a GSL with loose lower lips. It's more than just a cosmetic problem. She has to clean them daily to keep infection from developing. I took him to the vet for a needle the other day, and while we were waiting, I peeled a long strip of dead skin off his lower lip, and dropped it on the floor.

He promptly ate it....

His owner said this happens all the time, and he will fight you to get to the strip of skin! Sick

Here's how to hide excessively loose lips/loose skin on a dog's head!  Devil Smile

What about the females?

And so ends another German BSZS.

I didn't see the steep croups.
I saw that the croups were almost in the same line as the loins.

Sitamom,

As you know the croup angle is measured from the horizontal, croup being in line with loin means loin too is steep.

Did you go to the show ?

I'm not an expert, but following dog's from the VA group have caught my eye and I like how they look on the pictures:

In no particular order: Atos aus Agrigento; Fulz di Zenevredo; Omen vom Radhaus; and Labo vom Schollweiher.

Again this is just my non expert personal opinion based on still picture(s).

It´s like always - take a look and choose ( but don´t forget about the TSB ratings, there have been huge differences between the single dogs... Shades Smile )
There is no perfect dog, haven´t seen one yet, it´s about phaeno- and genotype, you just need to decide which male ( not out of the VA class only, but out of all males ) might be the best fit for your female.
Ibrahim, which one do you like most? ( Sent you a PM )

Susie,

Now my heart is talking

I love Schumann von Tronje

Look at his magnificent body, smooth topline, beautiful coat & beautiful pigment. Wow what a beauty

I also like Fulz di Zenevredo

Look at the way he is holding himself with pride, look at that male type, wow , wowwwwww

Correct knowing the TSB would affect my opinion too, but I haven't seen any TSB videos yet
