"Oh, now you are resorting to "name calling" -- tsk, tsk Keith. Get a grip."

Like implying that the only reason I went into the military was for the GI bill isn't an indirect form of name calling?  Get over your self-righteous indignation already.

Indignation over something you say.....No way -- LOL.   Your choice of words speaks to your lack of character.

"Also, you didn't answer my questions. If I recall correctly, you stated (in another thread) that you were in the Military -- Why? Ever in combat ?"

And I asked you once about your dog's pedigree which you refused to answer.  Unlike my military background, which is none of your business and nothing you are in a position to even remotely understand, your dog's lineage is pertinent to the focus of this site.

"Oh, another question -- if you don't like this thread, then why do you keep coming back to it ??"

Because I don't suffer ignorance or liars well.

Regarding my dog's Pedigree -- that has been addressed before on this Forum.   It is "None Ya" because the GSD Community is quite small -- and this Forum is gossipy and back-stabbing.   Rest assured, it is an Excellent Pedigree.

Regarding your Military background -- frankly I don't give a SH**.   You talk about Unnecessary and Unjustified Wars -- well, when you join the Military, those decisions are not yours to make .... "It is Beyond Your Pay-Grade" to paraphrase a statement by "O."

Wow!  I liked the other Keith.  I wasn't citing Fox News.  I gave you a link to the statements of an Iraqi general.  Nice discussion, though.  Point, counterpoint, personal attack.  We had a good volley going.  It was fun while it lasted.

I thank you for and respect your service.

So what you're saying is that you don't have the integrity to stand behind what you post here?

"You talk about Unnecessary and Unjustified Wars -- well, when you join the Military, those decisions are not yours to make."

Which is why those who do make those decisions should not do so lightly.

RFS,
AlCapone was a criminal in your own country for starters. Secondly he was charged with tax evasion and found guilty after all evidence was there,  in agreement with the law.
Yup, you are right, the gas he used was a WMD, that was back in 1988, even that did not trigger any country to invade Iraq. But this comes in handy after more than 10 years ?? I just looked it up, UN, CIA all looked for WMD'S for nearby 2 years, at some point up to 1500 peopel were looking for them at the same time. Bottom line, they were never found.
Wow, you actually find it ok to start a war on" IFS ?" Would you also find it ok, so to speak as a precaution, because your brother, sister, uncle has a weapon at home, for them to be shoot, because they may, at some point shoot at someone ??
As to the declaration itself may not be illegal by American term and law, I never stated that, but what I did state was, that it was an illegeal act by international law. Since we all know that Iraq is not neighbouring MO, it has to be looked at from an international standpoint......., that is something, "the war is lawfull, because it was authorized by congress"  (who I bet thinks totally different now), it is lawfull for the US to invate any given Country in this world, if just Congress permitts it !
Someone asked if I ever was in the Military, yup did my 4 years in the Airforce.

Las but not least, if I understood you right, your comment about janet jackson did more for country music than garth brooks, doess that mean, you question the massive loss of lives over there ?
If so, I really have to stop thinking about it.

Ulli,

Al Capone was arrested on tax evasion charges because a case could not be made against him for say, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, due to the stranglehold he had on the community.  It is hard to build a case with dead witnesses.  We acted against Iraq for its failures to comply with international resolutions dating back to the Kuwait invasion.  We did actually find small quantities of sarin and mustard gas as well as evidence of mobile labs.  We also knew that Saddam had ordered large quantities of atropine.  There are also some that believe that Saddam may have shipped WMDs over to Syria.  Bush did not have the luxury of hindsight.  And I'm getting a headache from rehashing this over with you again.

Janet Jackson did more for country music than Garth because she sent people in droves from their favorite rock stations to find any alternative.

NBC is responsible for the deaths of many servicemen and Iraqis because they offered hope to the terrorists that they could break our will.

Sometimes I will have to ask you to read between the lines if we are to continue to debate this.

What ever happened to DR?
