Flirt Pole? - Page 2

I have been doing my own version of that since I first got Naya. I do that now too, only thing missing is the pole, and she LOVES it. No one can laugh at this part: I had never heard of a Flirt Pole or Lure Pole, but I had always done that with Naya, using a thick tree branch, with rope on the end, with a toy on the end of the rope. I just discovered this Flirt Pole thing a few days ago, and thought I'd buy one and make it offcial. Thanks for the videos, they were great, and I was glad to see I was doing everything the same way!

Good Luck with your training. I have also heard the flirt pole works great. I have pit bulls so I could never have one for my GSD puppy, (for the exact reason you stated!) but it looks like a lot of FUN! :-)

Go to TSC in Owosso and buy a 4' horse whip.  You can attach whatever you want to it.  I think they are under $10 and come in a variety of colors.

I must have a dirty mind, i was thinking this thread was gonna have something to do with mating : )

They are real easy to make.

- Get a 4' piece of PVC pipe.

- Drill a hole in the end.

- Thread a thin strong piece of rope through the end.

- Attach burlap, tugs, toys....whatever.
