Bobby has a good point

by mking on 29 January 2009 - 01:01

I agree that the poor dog looks awful and not well cared for. My point was there is so much BS and negativity on this board already, can we find no other topics to post? How about training, health issues etc.? Cold here too, and I am sure most people here work as well, is that your excuse? Does trashing someone else make you feel better because your feet hurt?

Yes there is a lot of B.S. on this board about crap that doesnt matter. But this about a dog, not Obama, or some political agenda. Im hoping it is just a just a hoax ad. Im doing far less than what PETA would do to oust the people that placed that ad. And Im glad most people here work, its a good habit to have. Maybe the person that posted the ad doesnt have a job, so he cant feed his dog. And no, trashing people doesnt make my feet feel better, a tall bottle of Milwaukees best and a foot massager would do the job though. Did you place the ad? is that why youre getting all ruffled up?

Nope. not my dog. Just someone whos's tired of reading all the BS. I hope it is a hoax as well.

mking, no offense intended, but if I myself ever would make such a poor decision as to post an ad like that one day, I would hope that folks would have the cajonies to bash the living snot out of me for my stupidity. Might just whip me back into a sense of reality. LOL -Yvette

"owning a dog is a responsibility and when the dog is in ill health then we have every right to comment! Especially if the dog i being used for breeding there are enough unhealthy dogs and pups being sold. Its about propert breeding ethic's not just slapping two dogs together just for a few extra dollars.

I agree owning a dog is a responsibility. And yes, there are plenty of unhealthy, poorly bred dogs and pups, but how about PM ing the owner listed on the ad rather than bringing it here? JMO

Good point and one I can't answer. All I know is we as dog owners, trainers and breeders must be open minded to what is truly going on. If the dog is not of breeding quality then it should not be bred. How many dogs are placed with major health and temperment issues? How many top well known breeders have to come to the rescue? How many of these breeders of poor quality dogs actually stand behind what they breed and or stick around to find out if there is a health issue? They have your money and could careless what has happened or will happen. JMP

Poor thing looks like he needs a hug, some water, & a big bowl of food.......I wonder if some breeder is crying to see their pup look like that........I would be. jh

I have a male with an over bite .I will not breed him.Every six months or so a women calls me and ask-es the same question,CAN SHE USE MY DOG TO STUD HER FEMALE?How many times do I have to tell her NO NO NO ?? I guess she thinks I forget he has an over bite.He is a nice big boned pet and he's MY pet.    After thought     last time she she bred her dog to some Joe she picked up around town ,she called me and told me her dog had panda shepherds.I almost laughed my self off the phone.I told her good for you.I will probably have to repent over the glory I felt. She makes me crazy.
