Nonacona60 what breed did she have? I've always heard of this with Huskies (could not remember the term snow nose to save my life, but have heard of it from other Husky owners), but some others have had the same thing happen with different breeds.  If you saw the movie eight below, I think "Max" on there had that as well, and possibly some of the other dogs (been a while since I've watched it.  That movie was shot up somewhere in northern Canada and it literally got negative 30 with a wind chill of negative 40 where they were at.  I'll take my middle Tennessee weather over that any day.  Only a few what I consider cold months a year.  I visit Brownsburg, Indiana a lot and the weather up there in the middle of Winter makes me glad to be in the south lol.

She had GSDs... I saw them, but their noses were not actually pink, but more like a really light light grey.  Different shades of grey....I would say any lighter and it would have been close to pewter grey. In warmer weather, they were the normal black color.... Hard to discribe, but I tried my best....

Here are a few pictures I found googling the movie.  Look mostly at Max......my male Max looks almost just like him in looks, but that's exactly what my guys look like in the winter, that really pink nose in the middle. A few of the others in it have it as well.

If this happens only when the days grow shorter, maybe full spectrum light bulbs in the house and or kennel? If it happens only when the weather is cold and dry, try a humidifier in the house and or kennel.

Also try changing to a stainless steel bowls instead of aluminum.

Yes Tarek is in Egypt (the bigger sister of Jordan), two hours flight by plane, weather in these countries is relatively warmer than that in the US and Canada but we do get a winter season too, lol. Ibrahim

Well  Ibrahim, so you know that it is just 2 hours flight from Jordon to Egypt, so why the hell you are waiting so long to pay a visit .

As I told you before you are more than welcome, just decide.

Regards

Tarek

I already decided, it's just a matter of time, Egypt is just like a mother to us here, we love and cherish Egyptians, most of the old here are graduate from Egyptian universities, remember I told you I spent my honeymoon in Cairo! I have beautiful memories there, I'll never forget the dinner I had with my beloved wife on board of Pharao boat in Nile river. My coming over will be rather soon, we may even invite Bob for lunch over rabbits with Mulookhia. Thanks for the invitation you may very soon be chatting with me face to face and we may even  gossip a little about the forum beloved members and they are many, lol.

Ibrahim
