melba....wow....they are absolutely breath taking...gorgeous dogs...

Well, I say goofing around for a few different reasons :)
Number one, the chances of me actually getting papers on Deuce is about 5%, but I knew that. So the chances of him ever
actually being shown and needing to be stacked is slim to none, which is a shame because he is an AWESOME working dog.
He's been doing 100' diameter area searches since he was 4 months old.
Number two, if we as handlers don't like doing something or the dogs are not enjoying the training then we are doing something
wrong. So work is play and play is work, the key being we all have a great time.
I'd say the most serious one single thing we have done was a 4 mile trail, aged for 2 hours in 80 degree weather over grass, asphalt
thick vegetation and sand. While yes it was awesome... it was a lot of work and we were all pooped :) This was Deuce's
mother, btw . LOL.I think I like trailing the best out of all activities (would LOVE to try herding but haven't had the opportunity) and
there are a few others I would like to try. We have a blast doing whatever, or nothing at all. GSD are the greatest :)
