toots re your comments here and on "double standards uk versus sv" I am secretary of Fife Schutzhund Club (the nearest to you) we spoke before Christmas when I told you "we are currently at our limit of dogs" but come along to meet everyone and see if the sport is for you / your dogs, as members come and go and spaces open up. But if you remember correctly you told me you do ringcraft on Sundays so couldnt come but you might come along in the spring, I didnt realise you wanted me to call you back months later! That invite has remained since, but you have NEVER asked me again. Can you tell me who your husband is contacting within our club and getting negative responses from? I have NEVER BEEN CONTACTED by him, since I spoke with you last year. ALL of Fife club current active members are training dogs we do not limit the number of members we limit the number of dogs, I'm sure you appreciate that rushing through too many dogs is not good practice. We are open to ALL, we have a number of "show" dogs at the club, myself included!! My phone number has not changed for 13 years, my e-mail address has not changed for 7 or 8 years, and is readily available on the club website as well as our own website and the BSA website. That would be a better way to get action than posting incorrect statements on a forum open to the world. cheers John www.fifeschutzhundclub.co.uk

Toots After making all the noise and receiving advice on what to do you are now resorting to private emails if you are so right why the privacy, or is it maybe your version of events is not exactly as you have depicted, i for one will be very interested in your reply

Reason - the matter is being resolved by both parties involved so therefore I am not obliged to explain anything more to anyone on this thread.

To Reason - on the "Double Standards" thread I highlighted not just our problems, but the problems many others are having, so the reason for the thread was not just personal, it threw up an overall problem situation in many regions. Also, I e-mailed Nugget after he/she kindly gave me their e-mail address and so far I have not had any reply - find that strange as I asked again to have the original e-mail address confirmed - again no answer???? I gave my area and I also asked you for your personal e-mail as I thought we could communicate that way and you refused, so I do not think you have the right to question why WE would rather resolve the problems we were having directly with the person concerned. It just so happens that I have known this man for many many years as we have to communicate on show matters as well we preferred to do so privately.

Does anyone know of schutzhund clubs in the NW London, Herts, Beds area?

Radical if you would like to see a club nearer your home, then why don t you suggest to the people that you train with that you all get together and set one iup the BSA can tdo it for you, i would like one closer to me i travel 65 miles, anothe r small point if you can t train in a club envoioment with like minded people it will be very difficult for you to even qualify sch 1 never mind sch111 i try to train at club twice per week and its difficlt, ps a good guide is BH at 2 sch1 at 21/2 plus you need to be a member of a club to enter an event and if you local clubs are busy or full you might have to wait and dogs only live so long, its not an easy road but the quicker you start the better and starting means in my opinion joining an club
