Nice vids
Not sure I like the idea of the attack from a car.....I have to do extra training just to keep my dog from wanting to eat people who walk by. I can see the point an if your dog insnt territorial at all. Have to admit I havnt seen many working line GSD's that wernt though.
Not sure of the validity of the training with all the decoys walking around giving bites here and there.
It does look fun if you want a little something than the sch...not necessarily more realistic. Its not how the handler and decoy view the the training, its how the dog views it.
The only thing that matters is that you and the dog enfoy the training!

When you have a bunch of decoys on the field, the dog doesn't just ramdomly go around biting whoever it feels like biting. It has to bite the one you specifically asked it to bite. So the real world applications are somewhat more understandable....you don't want the dog to bite the wrong person.

To the critics...its a SPORT like any other. It has it's attributes and flaws, and tunnel vision training tendencies. My dog will perform noise or no noise so it's not a big concern...I just let the decoys decoy. If I were training FOR personal protection or PSD I would be more mindful to keep things realistic more often.
Just out there having fun with my dog...back to training cya.
