And still no "crates are cages used by people that don't have time for their dogs."

Not only cars...but houses as well. I know many people who think it's horrible to crate train at home. When I had a severe illness in 05, 2 of my dogs were in crates and my female was loose in the house. Through gasping air, I told EMS NOT to knock on the door, to just come in. Explained that I had dogs in the house, but only one was loose but friendly. Guess what.....EMS and cops came BANGING ON THE DOOR! LOL Dogs going crazy in crates caused female to come and stand over me. The female was my daughters SD. EMS/Cops yelling, dogs barking and trying to get out of cages....was not a pretty site!!! Then, one little, I mean tiny build, woman walked in, told everyone to shut up (which is what I was trying to get out), and asked me if it was ok to approach. I gave her the dogs name, told her she was friendly, she called the dog to her, I told the dog it was ok (she wouldn't go otherwise), and they were able to help me. And this tiny woman was able to calm all of my dogs down within 5 min and put my female in her kennel! :-) Without her, I truly believe they would of shot my dogs! I know it's a little off topic, but CRATE training IS NOT a bad thing!!!!
