How about a list of breeders who are watering down the working ability of the GSD because they can't get pet buyers?

I don't think it exists.

Ok, Jen, I ordered the hooked on phonics, but it doesn't arrive for a while. So was that stud titled?

Should've ordered it via Amazon Prime, Chaz. Could've had it Tuesday.

While there does seem to be a comma missing in that last sentence, my reading comprehension skills inform me that the dog that was chosen as a stud dog is an IPO3, FH1, and has a brother who was a national level agility dog. Thus, yes, I understand the sentence to be indicative that the stud dog IS titled.

I was gonna tell him, hexe...really, I was. I was just starting to have a good time, though, after he'd been on my case. The thing is, nit-picking my breedings isn't really what this thread was about. A missing comma is the culprit, to be sure, but I think someone has to be reaching pretty far (or just looking for things to pounce on) to deduce an untitled sire from that typo, and try to derail a thread to make issue of it. So, I didn't especially care to give that too much serious attention. The thread isn't about studs I've used.

Hooked on Phonics apparently didn't teach me to proofread and double-check my commas.

merely asking a question after reading a poorly written post is bashing? I just wanted to clarify if you chose a stud based on his titled brother. Geesh!!! I haven't bashed any of your dogs or you. Asking a question isn't bashing, or pouncing on anything. Carry on.

I think the Magic Wand biz is highly over rated.

@Beetree
There are definitely some GSDs that CANNOT be handled by the " casual end user " who have no clue as to how some dogs are capable of behaving . There are dogs which come with high drive, no off switch, dominance, resource aggression and hardness all in one package. I know of an experienced handler who is currently trying to get rid ( sell ) of a 4yr old male Mali ( only about 50 lbs ) ( aggressive / hard ) with multiple bite histories. That dog certainly cannot go to a pet home.
