I'm considering Emerald Green or a related variety for the end of the training field down by the street. Some varieties grow fine and quickly as far north as Maine. I'm thinking I'll trim the tops regualrly so they don't get too high and shade too much of the training field.

That camera sounds like a plan, and may catch that kid with the gun.No defense when on tape and social services will do something about it or them.

Thanks everyone for all of the ideas and suggestions. Here is what I am looking at getting.

From what I read it grows pretty fast and thick. It's not the prettiest but it sounds like it would do the job fairly quickly. What do you guy's think? I think once I establish my property line with these trees I will then plant some burning bushes b/c I think they have thorns on them? or I could be thinking of another bush? I've looked at so many lately.
Here are a couple of other's I was looking at, but they don't seem to grow as fast as what I need.
