seems strange that a club would drive 40 or so miles to track on ground, they know Gary uses, when they have excellent tracking right next to there club site, I remember tracking next to there club in years past for events like the awdf championship. and several times making 99 point track. Is it My dogs are super trackers? or amybe the fields were nice? or maybe both. LOL anyways, it seems strange to me about traveling so far and to have videoset up and ready to film the event, shit let me use your club tracking grounds, nothing wrong at all with them.

Don Corleone,

Don't take this personally (LOL), but I agree with you 100%. Boorish behavior, especially by someone supposedly entrenched in the sport and who SHOULD ALWAYS be an ambassador for the sport, should have acted in a civilized manner, regardless of the exact situation.

Your suggestions about how he should have proceeded are excellent. Even IF the club did not have permission to use the field most would certainly NOT have acted in this manner. It is symbolic of some in this sport who think they are exempt from common decency. As for the facts of the matter, I suggest that ALL facts be posted here by those who are in the know. That could start with a copy of the log the officer made, or his/her report as to whom he chased from the field.

We often have had trouble in our region where clubs have not shown any concern or respect for the fact that another club was using property they did not have permission to use. While heated words were exchanged, and in one case I know of, police were called, no one drove over people's tracks, and the incidents did not take place during a trial.

I once got permission to use a large tract of land for a trial for tracking, in pristine condition. People who were to trial were given specific areas they could use for practice and other areas they were to stay off of. Sadly, some of them took advantage of the knowledge of the tracking ground location. So now, we don't do that anymore. We track on natural turf and in less than pristine conditions, and where no one can violate the rules because people live here.

Your welcome to track in a field of dead grass if you like keep in mind we had a bad drought last year. Or if you would like maybe we could get permision once again from the land owner to let you track at the fields used for the trial seeing they are fertalized and cut. But thats really not the point now is it. Funny how people get side tracked from the issue at hand. Like I said before Gary and Eric both have permision to track there and for the trial permision was granted to hold the tracking there. CACS does use their fields for practice but for a trial we wanted to give people the best  fields available and if you came to a CASC trial we would have your best interest at heart also. CASC also flew a judge in from Belgium thats alot farher than 40 miles but once again the club tries to meet all the needs for all those who would trial at a sanctioned trial with the best posible chance for achieving a title.

this is the act of king of shit. USCa has only about 4000 members and I bet just a few of them really train their dogs for schutzhund. Everyone in the organization should try help each other to train their dogs, not to imped a trial by any reason. What would happen if there was only guy left in the USCa?

This is a childish red neck act, typical of red neck bull shit fom someone from alabama. This moron must have been hit in the head too many times. Looks like a school yard bully to me. This lard ass is not in control you better be careful around him he looks dangerous. If the united schutzhund club of America does not kick him out of the organization for such extreme unsportsmanlike behavior it does not say much for the oranization.
