Shilohs are a rare breed, Tess. Of course they are going to be outnumbered in that category.

Would you like some more stories?

How about this one? (and it's NOT from Tina!)

A Shiloh owner and its handler had just finished a training exercise. The instructor asked the participants to put their dogs back in their vehicles so he could talk to them. The lady put her dog in the back of her SUV, but left the hatch open for ventilation, as she knew her dog's 'stay' was rock-solid, and it was a hot day.

She was standing next to her vehicle, listening to the instructor, when the dog's water bowl came flying out of it, followed very shortly by a water bottle.

After staring for a moment in disbelief, the instructor said, "I think your dog's thirsty. Better give it some water!"

Yup the dog did the cupbords in .It's the dogs room.LOL the house is over 100 years old it has three kitckens 3 living rooms and some secret rooms,, I think from the slave hideing days . He lives with a couple of men . They have enough money to fix it when they are ready . They let the dogs have that room .He also shares it with a dalmation mix . The dogs are only allowed in two rooms of a giant house . Thay have three acres they run and play in mud and yuk all day .. What are ya gonna ,,do ya gotta love them dogs . I tried to get them to take the photos out side but ya sometimes can't argue with a guy and win LOL.

I have the dogs pedigree in my files up stairs .I have his DNA  and OFA papers also . He is one of my females pups .I did not own the sire, When I bred my female I really didn't look at the males pedigree that well ,I just looked at his dogs and DNA and proof of the OFA  .It wasn't till I got to looking at  the pedigrees that I got figuring it out .I'm not too good with pedigrees . I have a six generation pedigree on him. I also have Shiloh on the bottom side of the  female . No I don't believe he is on the data base . I would not know how to do that . I  had to have some one take that photo for me on a cell phone send it to someone else's Email, then give them my pass word to post the photo.Could you imagine how I could mess up posting a pedigree . I'm more then willing to give up the information if any one has any ideas let me know .I'm not ashamed to say I bred a dog with AKC Shiloh bloodlines .I'm quite sure some of the dogs in the pedigree were bred by Tina . I went and got the pedigree so it sits right here by the computer .

So, what are some of the name, wuzzup? I know the Shiloh lines pretty well, but to get a dog bred by Tina in the pedigree, you'd have to go back to around 1990, which is when she stopped doing AKC registrations.

What difference does it make to tell him, as he had already bred it anyway. Kinda late to try to find out what it is, dontcha think? See the "What do you think of Keizer" thread

Ok, I went back and read the Keizer thread, and it sounds to me like he is trying to figure some things out. Get it right, and not make mistakes again. He stated he looked at the breeder who bred the obvious poor examples, and thought.."why cant I do that" and well..did it. He realized he has made a mistake, done some educating and is not going to breed it again. He has shown that these are now PETS , and isnt going to make the same mistake again. Why not answer a question after he admited a mistake, he is trying to find out if his dog is AKC Crap, (no offence) or Shiloh in disguise. He wants to LEARN more.. so TEACH him instead of bashing him. If he was to say.. Idont care what you all think and breed anyways like some of you on here have..then by all means..say your say, and move on. He loves his pets, and wants to learn more about the breed. Teach, guide, and respect that he admits he screwed up. If there is a rescue willing to help place the pups that are left to ensure they get fixed, and a good home, go HELP HIM.

Ugh.

TM and Maxbear....we should start our own thread, lol. I think these beasts are WAY better looking than Shilohs....and a hell of a lot tougher.  Too bad mine's for sale...
