Bob Q still imports from the same german Kennel he has for umteen years. Yes we have a lot of Americans that have foundations they imported..Yes , the number of Czech and Hans'expertise are now the big focal points.
The two above are just a peanut in the list of who imports. I am sure Nate, and many more of our top trainers are still working hand in hand with the Germans and those in Belgium that are still trying to keep the breed on the right course. We all know what we got shoved in our back doors by many germans who thought we were so brain dumped we would accept their cast offs...We did and we have but we are now very much ahead of their game.
Greg Mominee can also lend to this situation..Where do you think he goes to get TUNED up every year????

Anybody besides me have examples of mismanagement by the current admin? I don't think we need to re-hash the debacle that was the "USA" Sieger Show, an event of manipulation and pre-determined outcome. As most of you know, I am not renewing my membership this month when it expires but recently I received a receipt in the mail for my CC payment. Really? A receipt for the renewal of a family membership for my wife and I but a charge against "a" card for a single. I say "a" card because it wasn't mine and it wasn't my wife's. Not only was a "family" membership renewed and card issued for the price of a single, BUT IT WAS PAID FOR ON SOMEONE ELSE'S CARD. I called the office to inform them of the mistake and was told that I would have to wait for a return call as this might take some time. I received the return call shortly after with the information that "ooops, we charged someone else for your renewal". So, without me calling to inform them of their error, some poor slob (sorry if it was you) was paying for my membership and not getting their own. Good thing I'm such a nice guy since the "organization" could give a rat's ass about me or my individual membership, and years ago booted my breed from competition. All Hail the German Shepherd and USCA,,,,,,,,,,,,bite me, you're just hurting the sport.

I guess I have not been very clear, so I will put it another way. If the need ever arises for the GSD to be imported to Germany, why is it they will be doing so from the U.S. when some of the best in the world are produced in a neighboring country.
There are good dogs and good breeders here (U.S.) for LE/military purposes. But they are not numerous as in the European countries.

When I joined the United Schutzhund CLUBS of America It did,nrt shock me that each CLUB gets to vote at the National Meeting, so many people act as if they did,nt know that coming in. Would a 1 vote one member be okay? sure, I thinking in the long run you will still see the same precentage of votes cast on a comparrision.
Do we still not have the WDC that is a National Trial for all breeds?. Do we not have Directors at large that can be told our thoughts desires and asperations to?.
I,ve gotten false cahrges on a credit card, we are all human and make mistakes on occasion.
You can either stand and stomp your feet and scream the sky is falling or do something about it.

Bob, were you at the meeting last year in Davenport?
by Bob McKown on 06 October 2010 - 18:10

You were a member till you decided not to renew your membership, you made that choice not anyone else. Arent you a Mali guy? (I could be wrong) so how would the GSD requirement affect you?
And No Phil there facts not in dispute.
