LF,
Obviously, there is something wrong with the car and you know it.  That is the part I have the issue with.  Just because you don't lie about what is wrong with the car, not telling someone is just as unethical.  I guess you just don't get it and trying to explain why I feel it is unethical is futile and pointless.

Good insight into your thought process, though.

Jim

Cars v. Puppies..........MOST typical car buyers go see the car and test drive it for a minimum of 20 minutes or so.  If the car craps out no one suffers except the car buyer's pocket book!

With the puppy we had an inexperienced buyer that trusted others recommendations.  Seller saw her coming a mile away and stuck it to her with an inbred puppy who's parents are 9 months old and brother/sister littermates!  Those dogs were puppies them self!  The puppy that the buyer received weighed ELEVEN POUNDS at 12 weeks old!  IMO, that is pretty small, too small!  I have talked to the puppy buyer and she did NOT know the puppies parents were brother/sister!  She tried to look up the puppies pedigree but mysteriously the Sire's name was misspelled when sent to her...hmmmm.......was that intentional?  Could have been!  Through some detective work of some other people it was found out that the puppies parents were brother/sister!  Who sufferes here? Potentially the puppy and the buyer and her kids!  Pretty sad!

This seller's real name is Zdenek "Hans" Blabla and you can read more about a little black puppy that he sold....the physical conditions of each puppy are uncomfortably familiar!  Also, why would Mr. Blabla be banned by AKC for 10 years?  Why does he go by a name other than Zdenek?

Someone talked about my ethics here.
If I would not be ethical: Since I was selling the pups without papers I would not need  reveal any info or could have made something up. But since I am ethical I have  reveal all the info before and after the purchase and answered all the questions the best way I could instead . I offered to give money back.
Only one person called me and asked questions and one send an e mail about this. But many are "ethically" trying to drag my name through the mud. I do  not mind since
I am not ashamed of anything and I have not done nothing wrong, I am not hiding anything.

How many breeders would have welcomed a phone call from a stranger on the internet wanting to know the details of a puppy they sold because the thread was deleted before they could read it?

Be honest.

How about a PM to either party involved?  I think they would have been receptive to that?

by Ibrahim on 07 December 2010 - 20:12

I did send Prager an e mail regarding this issue and he replied and explained all what happened, he did not owe me anything and I am not a puppy buyer prospect, I was feeling bad and wanted to hear explanation, Prager only knows me through this forum, I usually ask him for advice and he provides it, that is all to our knowing each other.
