I don't remove the fat either, but I also add Alaskan salmon oil which provides additional "fat" and I just wonder if sometimes my girl isn't getting too much fat. I've heard that dogs can get too much fat and this can cause pancreatitis- that's why I asked.

To me the problem (with adult dogs) is just as much if not more from lack of exercise.

Lack of exercise and spaying and neutering. AND eating cheap, shitty, grain-laden foods. Or my favorite, a combo of all three.

How about a combo of all three wrapped up in the package of a police K9 whose handler is a mirror image of his/her dog?

My personal favorite.

Can you supply a photo? I love that. Like those cute contests- who looks most like their dog and all that jazz.

I would think a neutered cop would be even more sensitive.

I don't know if any of the below posts were in response to my post about fat and pancreatitis- I meant too much fat in the diet is known to cause pancreatitis and that's why I asked if the raw feeders removedsome of the fat.

Yep- poor diet and/or too much food and lack of exercise are the culprits...just like us humans!!
