Sue -- are you sitting down?    I agree 100% with you !!

sueincc

by sueincc on 04 May 2010 - 05:05

No, you just think you do.  Responsible breeders of  purebred dogs need to strive to breed dogs that conform to the standard of that breed, and  to suggest otherwise  is absurd.

I agreed 100% with what you said in your previous post.....but since you want to now start "qualifying" your remarks....maybe not.

Also, I note that you have changed the wording in your previous post.    Whatever.

Let's clarify this particular non-issue.  This is a forum for the FCI defined GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG, an official FCI sanctioned breed, and no other breed or mixed breed of dog, from an official registry or not.

The shiloh or anyother hybrid or GSD derivative is NOT A REAL GERMAN SHEPHERD according to the FCI stabdrad for the GSD breed.  So take your discussion about shiloh (non)shepherds and any derivative/hybrids elsewhere to an appropriate forum of your choice.

And if you don't have one email Oli and see if he will start a forum for you. He has started some for other Non-German Shepherd breeds such as dobermans.  But I think they are all oficial FCI dog breeds.  If your shiloh mutts are accepted as a distinct FCI breed, then you should be able to convince Oli to start a forum for you on another distinct part of the pedigreedatabase system he owns and runs.

Your postings on this FCI GSD breed forum are inappropriate, non-sensical, and a waste of space.  What else could your motives be than to try and get free advertising?  But certainly you must be able to comprehend that any such discussion here on a FCI GSD breed forum that doesn't and never will accept your hybrid or derivatives (watered down genetic contortions) will actually serve to discredit any respectability you are trying to get here.  And if others have imitated your manipulative efforts to gain notoriety and subsequent sales from supposedly inventing a new and better derivative or hybrid, so what.  If you can do it they can do it too, and some may even be able to end with with more absburdly contorted derivatives or hybrids.  It's like the pot calling the kettle black !!!!!  Get it ???  But each to his/her own.  But how about doing it elsewhere because there is no room to discuss you self-made genetic messes here on this FCI GSD breed forum.

Do you seriously think you can ever improve on the selective breeding of the SV members, breeding which has occurred over an extended period of 100 years plus and involves over 1200 clubs in Europe alone all working with experienced SV approved breed wardens, not to mention the other many excellent SV breeders in other countries around the world?  Sorry but your supposed breed is not a real SV GSD, never will be and is a joke no matter what your or you buyers and followers claim.  But it's stuill a free country so keep on truckin.

Enuf said, get real or get a new con.  This one is worn out and it's time you face it.

I have a close friend who has gone thru 3 of Tina's dogs.

Granted this wasn't "yesterday" but happened nonetheless, short version,,,she wanted to get into breeding, she bought a male and a female, puppies, both came home with parvo, the female died, she was replaced with another, at 6 months of age, both the now female and male had the worst hips ever,,the female was so bad she was put down, the male she kept, had hip surgeries on him and yes he lived until 10 years old as a pet.  These dogs weren't cheap to begin with, and ended up costing way more because of health issues.

After that info, she was cut off like a hot potatoe and the only contact she had regarding her, was when a District Attorney from that state contacted her looking for info on what her experience had been, seems there were a few who were unhappy with their 'experience'.

I won't even go into what my friend told me in regards to the description of the place.

If anyone would like the person's name, I'd be glad to give it to them and they can privately contact her to verify.

Just a personal experience
Diane

MaggieMae, Thanks for the intelligent post, it was a breath of fresh air after reading the gutter trash your group was dishing out!

Doberdoodle, of course we certify hips! That is my #1 priority & what makes Shilohs -- Shilohs! LOL Please read http://www.gsdhelp.info/ortho/Hipdysplasiaours.html  at least SOME GSD folks can appreciate what I have done!

eichenluft, I guess you have no clue about genetics?? Even Dr. Battaglia has clearly stated that it takes *UP TO 50 YEARS* to develop a breed!! It does NOT happen overnight!! When I am ready, we will have full AKC recognition & then I will pull out your posts & shove them up your --- hmmmm, nose?? LOL

Sock Puppet, I don't expect you to support my breed -- or even understand it!!  What I was trying to tell you folks was that YOU have a problem!! There are people out there taking YOUR dogs & selling them as "shilohs" -- and here I thought that some of you might care about YOUR reputation! These working dogs that they are using are being crossed with my gentle Shilohs -- creating fear biters that will (and have) hurt my reputation BECAUSE THEY **** CLAIM**** TO BE SHILOHS -- but even more so, will hurt YOUR NAME -- because I am out there telling folks it's YOUR fault that the FAKE Shilohs are out there attacking little children!!

This concerned me enough to expose it on your board, because I foolishly thought that some of you might care about YOUR breed -- but after reading your replies (and I am saving your replies for future exposure) that I can use in my updated revision of the Shiloh Shepherd Story

Be sure to note that when I first posted I shared http://shilohfraud.com/  because over 100 "breeders" are out there using YOUR dogs & selling the pups as Shiloh's -- I assumed that SOME of you might read this, look at the pedigrees, and contact THOSE breeders (like Caralon) that are being misrepresented! But obviously most of YOU could care less what is happening to YOUR "breed" -- you just wanted to jump in & attack me!

Preston, you are too funny!! I have had my OWN forum for nearly 2 decades now!! My newest one is http://shilohshepherds.infopop.cc/eve/forums  with nearly 2,700 members! We share all kinds of information over there & I have dropped 25,951 posts - as of today! So don't worry about ME -- I am doing JUST fine & we have found a way to educate our members without all of these attacks! LOL

Nice post Preston, good to see ya.

by eichenluft on 04 May 2010 - 12:05

actually, if "folks" are taking oversized, long-coated, unhealthy, shy, nervous, fear-biting GSDs and breeding/selling them as Shilohs - that's fine with me!  That pretty much describes every Shiloh "shepherd" I've ever met!  Better for the GSD breed if these wash-outs are called Shilohs - they will fit right in with the dogs you have "produced", Tina!  from what I have seen of course.

For those of you that like to read gossip & trash -- HAVE FUN! http://www.shilohshepherds.com/theRestOfTheStory.htm

I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE -- as a matter of fact, I like sharing these stories! http://www.shilohshepherds.com/buyersBeware/shilohWallShame.htm

Here's some more recent articles http://shilohbuyersbeware.blogspot.com/

& if you want more -- just go to http://www.tinambarber.info/nonPCArticles.htm

Anything else I can do for you??

Now, Diane .. as to your friend, I don't recall the incident (if she DID get her dogs from MY kennel) but since I have always sold all of my C/O litters from here (those that were not born here, but brought to me at 8 weeks of age so that I could properly evaluate & place them FOR their owners -- and YES, those folks got the money!) anyway -- back in the early 90's I thing that I had about 10-12 such litters (per year) to sell for my "breeders" -- if you add that to the puppies I had, I guess you would have to assume that we are talking well over 2,000 puppies total?? You can see the EXACT amount on these charts http://www.shilohshepherds.info/issrCharts.htm

In any case, I only recall one incidence of parvo that was brought in to my kennel, but that was more then 10 years ago! I also recall some FALSE accusations that were proven 100% false, but those attacks have come at me a lot more recently & were brought in by the FRAUDS -- trying to get me shut down so I would STOP exposing their foolish activities!! However, each time they came at me, I have written articles (with valid documentation for proof) about each case -- go google them up & have some fun!  I listed a few of them above!

As for my kennel, due to the false gossip, we have been taking pictures of the property EVERY YEAR -- go ahead, take a tour! http://www.shilohshepherds.com/newzion/
