Being able to sort-of read does not qualify as literate in my book but feel free to hold this guy up as a hero if you wish...heck, sell him a dog if it suits you...I wouldn't.

TessJ10, you are the one who refuses to accept our system. Our system imposes restrictions on child molesters, drunk drivers, and animal abusers after they're released from jail because they are very likely to still be dangerous. You refuse to accept this, but it is the law.

Forgiveness does not equal stupidity. You can forgive someone for what they did in the past and still understand that they are likely to be dangerous and need restrictions.

And by the way, the only one who has a right to forgive someone is the victim. If you were beaten half to death and your neighbor lady announced that she forgave your assailant for injuring you, would you accept this? She would have no right to forgive him since she wasn't the one who was harmed. We have no right to forgive Vick. Only his dogs have the right to do that.

There's also a certain type of person that says a person doesn't get excused for sicko behavior just because he's a celebrity and a football star. And then there are people who suck up to celebrities no matter what they do. You don't find them defending the ordinary street thugs, just the celebrities.

If stalin became  field goal kicker for  philly you would  support him also! so your feelings are mute because you are just another city of brotherly love  supporter! We are not JUST talking about a dog fighting sport and ring;  we are talking about this creature torturing, yes TORTURING those poor dogs relentlessly over and over again.  That is sick.  That kind of sickness does not just go away with a few years in jail.  He does not deserve any animals or kids for that matter.

Lol....Vick is a thug and illiterate. Majority of you guys don't know what a thug is. And illiterate?? Really?

Nope.  Don't think so.  I'm one of those on here who keeps saying if the law decides he can have a dog then he can have one.  The rest of you keep saying never, never, never.  And if you read the posts of those saying he may eventually get a dog again, not one of them has "excused" his behavior.  Trying to twist words won't work.

Exactly.  Which is why he does have restrictions. 

The reality is that if he behaves himself for a period of years, those restrictions may be lifted. 

There are a few people left in the world who acknowledge that redemption for an individual human being is possible. 

I say keel haul the dog abuser then let him walk the plank to freedom!

I support he guy and  when he is allowed a dog I would happily give him 2.
It makes me laugh at how people take it so personal and wish death and everything else on the guy. 
Just to see how much he pisses people off and is still making money and doing great puts the biggest smile on my face.  Reminds me of when OJ got off....nothing but celebration and was glad he got off.
