MANCHESTER UNITED!  AC MILAN...REAL MADRID!

Oops!  Is that the American "Football" that is played with the HANDS!  OR, is the REAL FOOTBALL played all over the world with their feet....and heads and is called ......FOOTBALL!

Tenmom, is that the sport where they fall down crying if the get touched? I believe we call it bocce ball, here. ;)

by tenmon on 17 January 2011 - 21:01

Don....that's Rugby!

by tenmon on 17 January 2011 - 21:01

Sorry Don.  Just trying to add a bit of flavour here.  Have you ever seen the commercial where there were the two  athletes, one an American football player  and the other a Brit Rugby player compare battlefield equipment!  LOL!

Part of the "Real" football game is one of the theatrics of make believe that they are hurt to draw a foul.  It works most of the time.  Just part of the game....the real football.

by tenmon on 17 January 2011 - 21:01

Oh Don...that bocce ball game, if I remember correctly and forgive me if I'm mistaken, was played by little old Italian men in the parks of NY!  I might be mistaken though.
