Nia , if your saying EchoMuddles should be executed or imprisoned for life, I think that's a bit harsh. After all she's only guilty of back yard breeding and egocentrism.

I can not believe what I just read.........

Echo you just accused a training club of purposely ruining a dog. That is just about the lowest, unethical, and cowardly thing anyone could do in the dog world. That accusation does not apply to one person. It applies to the training director of that club, the club members themselves, and most importantly the training decoys.

I have been a training decoy for almost 11 years. Anyone who is an active training decoy for a club does it for the love of the dog and dog sports. Period. There is no other reason you sacrifice you time, energy, your body, and risk physical injury. Training decoys work for no pay, in weather that ranges from rain, snow, to 100+ degree heat. We are lucky and appreciative to get fed a hot dog and a soda. Anyone who puts on a sleeve or gets into a bite suit should be honored and appreciated. You can have a dog, you can have a field, you can have equipment, but if you have no decoy, guess what? You have no dog sport. If it were not for these people, you have nothing. Any good decoys worst fear is injuring a dog.

If someone ever, ever, ever said I ruined or injured a dog on purpose it would take every ounce of my being to keep from punching that person in the face

I have worked dogs for people I do not like. I work them the same as I work my own dogs. Why? Because it is never about the person. It is about the dogs. This is something I do not think you will ever understand.

Now if ever, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Tmar I did NOT bring it back up,  That would be Sueincc and 4pack you can thank for that !!   STOP blaming me for all of the travesty's on this board.

Sueincc,  I did NOT lie,  when will you get that !!

Karyn,  I am so sorry for all that has happened,  I know you told me what you wanted in a dog,  I tried my darndest to pair you up with the right dog,  You seem very happy with the dog, And I am so Impressed by all you have done,  I beleive you can vouch for my praises to you regarding all of your hard work.  I have also heard you sing the praises of the individuals in your club as well,  and that they have been very kind to you...  I thought it was strange that they came here and trash talked you and your dog the way they did with....

"Hum....Intersting comments echomeadows. Since it was
my club who hosted this event & I spent 12 hours per
day during the seminar & after with Dean...Would you
like me to post what really was said & happened?
Karyn is an awesome club member. She is an asset to
the club, but Cassa is not a strong dog nor was she
the star of the seminar far from it. Karyn has had
Cassa since the pup was about 8 weeks old so don't try
to say its because Karyn had surgery 2 months ago.
WVSC has watched Cassa grow to this stage. Karyn has
made some mistakes but she is learning. Cassa is &
will probably be a fear biter not a dog you train in
the grip phase of SchH."

QUOTE FROM Nia TODAY.... "I attended the Calderon seminar and saw the conduct of the dog in question. It was NOT a mater of a second fear period, though it could be related to the heat cycle. Oddly, though, club members indicated that the behavior was typical, rather than an aberration. I would think that Dean Calderon is knowledgable enough to know what he was seeing, as well. He clearly didnlt think it was a fear-stage, as he distinctly counselled against the dog ever doing bite-work."

Nice comments from people who are supposed to be helping you and I bet they had not the nerve to say this crap to your face in this style !!!

Anyway Karyn,  I love what your doing,  What you have done,  and Hope you will continue on with the girls,  However my offer does stand if you or your club members feel the dog is THIS untrustworthy,  I would be happy to purchase her back !!  And maybe they can help you to find a MORE Respectable, Responsible Breeder who does not breed "Crap Dogs"    I don't wish for you to be saddled with that.  I think it's a hinderance for you and makes your learning the sport crippled, to be labeled to have a CRAP dog.

I had no idea sharing the fact that you were having such a great time at a seminar would have produced such a ruckous !!   And HELL YES I am proud of Cassa,  Foxe,  and More so YOU.

You also know you have my 100% support to you at any time as it has always been that way,  and we can keep it our little secret  :-)

How many of you require people to come to your place and meet ALL of your dogs before a purchase is completed ???????  I did this as well. They also told me in detail what they planned for the pup and what experience they had in GSD's before hand.

As long as everybody is being up front here. Maybe you can consider this. If no one is asking you for a puppy out of your dog(s) and you have to go through all this, then maybe the dog in question should not be bred.

Who ever has the dog will learn a lot from it, but quite honestly, I feel bad that someone is airing their performance for them.

by EchoMeadows on 19 July 2007 - 03:07

What is the big threat here ???  Why are you guys so worried about little ol me,  I honestly don't get it !!

I have 2 females not 200,  I have 1 male,  not 100  I produce 2 or 3 litters a year,  2 "Planned"  not 20 !!

What is the deal ???

I have done my homework

I know this breed

I love my dogs

I care for my dogs

I carefully select buyers,  not just any joe that shows up !!

I support those who purchase from us

I know proper health care, and feeding and PRACTICE THEM

We train too,  or are you Insinuating that our club is not good enough ???

What the hell is wrong with you guys ???

If it's a pure issue of Titles,  Like I expect it is,  You guys are so in need of a REAL LIFE !!

Everyone!  I love my dogs...I think they are great dogs ....I wouldn't trade them for the world and I will continue to work with them and train them to the best of my ability and with the help of others.  Like I said I am NEW and I am learning all the time and I am listening to everyone's advice.  I am trying hard to correct the socialization issue...or lack of socialization when Cassa was a puppy.....I am sorry I didn't listen to others who told me to socialize more because I didn't want her to get sick....like I said...I have learned from my experiences.   Thank you all for your comments.
