MVF - Very well articulated. . . . thank you!

I have my opinions on the subject but they have mostly been covered here.

MVF is right, everyone seems to be wanting the same thing - to do it right.

There is no real right or wrong in this, there are too many variables to set in place.

I have good lines, good potential but one male pup w/o both testicles at 14 weeks, my reasoning to sell him limited registration is that:

  1. He may need future surgery and therefore I want to reduce his price
  2. Do not want to pass on a genetic flaw
  3. Could be reversible depending on many things (it drops next week, person is interested in betterment of the breed, etc)

I decided to sell my pups at what I researched to be a reasonable amount for my local market, very thoughfully and carefully assessing their potential as pets, sport or service and have found that each buyer comes to me on an individual basis and I must respect this, keeping in mind their intent and desire for their pup.

PSP is right - this is America and we Americans like to have full control over what we purchase.

The bottom line IMO is that all of you really care about the breed and therefore regardless of how you sell your pups or another sells their pups, you all are doing what you can to better the breed - so you all deserve CUDO's for your effort.  We just can't all be put in the same box but it is good to respect other's efforts, because it's all about intentions.

Are those your adorable kids?

by Abhay on 25 September 2007 - 20:09

No yellowrose, not mine. Something I saw on the net I found comical.  I do however have some the age of those tykes. I have babies ranging from newborn to 35.

Well, hopefully you feel a little better after your outburst.  Honestly, you are entitled to your opinion, as am I.  I don't recall telling anyone to "stick to dogs", but no matter.  I don't give a rats ass whether you like my posts or not.  I have been unfairly attacked by em ever since we called her out back in July, so pardon me if I don't just lie down for it.  By the way, do you have an opinion on the actual topic of this thread?

Seems em has memory problems on top of everything else!  I don't know what's more pitiful, what you do, or the fact that you deny it.   Look, I'm done with you.  From now on, go ahead, make all the stupid inane remarks you want.   No one believes anything that comes out of your mouth.  Some pity you, but soon they will tire of your bs  as everyone else has.

Wow lets not learn anything or teach anything.

We should just all flame each other; much more mature!

Well I use to play in the sandbox too but not anymore so please.....

Sueinc: I use to read your posts and respect what you had to say.  I respected your opinion even if I disagreed; I still respected it.

Now I do not waste time reading your nastiness.

You have so much valuable information your could share!

The art of ignoring those you do not like or cannot get along with comes in handy.
