Where do all these orginizations come from?. President of this vice president of that. Training director of theses???? Helser is good at this also if you look at his Face book page you would think he was majorly connected like these guys. But if you do a google search of most of these orginizations and such there just lots of letters strung together and nobody knows any thing about them. Or better yet they come real close to spelling out a real orginization but maybe 1 or 2 letters off and when people seach and find theses they must think WOW these guys are legit.

I,ve got a real bad feeling about this dog,s demise!

Mystere

I just did a quick Google search. There were many praises for Dewberry in six pages of results, and one negative comment--and that was only to the effect that he restricted contact with dogs sent out to him for training. I doubt that anyone, newbie or not, would have been alerted that there were any serious issues with this person. I certainly would expect to find more "smoke" than I did. Is it possible that this entire mess is one humongous miscommunication issue? Maybe mixed with a bit of embarassment on the trainer's part at losing a dog?

There appear to be real trials and events that he is involved in.   One of the Google results is someone rhapsodizing about Dewberry and citing his friendship with Dean Calderon.  Doesn't Dean also now live in the Columbus, Ohio area, or nearby?   I agree that there can be a lot of "leger de main"  in ads and Facebook pages.  But, somebody in dogsports must actually know this guy.  If he is that big a schmuck, wouldn't we have heard about him way before now?   Schutzhund, dogsports, period, is a small community.

WOW!!

I normally don’t reply to these post but after reading this one from top to bottom my hearth is sadden for Trixx and her dog Teddy.
Maybe we can use this as a lesson learn to help others who need to have a dog train. By creating another post and letting the world know who's out there training that can and cannot be trusted. Any suggestion?

Greeneskennel, I'd rather everyone reading this thread ask around among the people THEY know who are involved in dogsports, and pass the word that this dog needs to be found, and returned to his owner. SOMEBODY other than just Cory Dewberry KNOWS what happened with Teddy--whether he really was lost, or was sold, given away or abandoned by Dewberry, or [worst case scenario] the dog died for whatever reason, whatever it is that took place did NOT happen in a vacuum. Anyone who lives in Ohio, especially in the Columbus/Pickerington area, PLEASE--contact your local television news department, contact your local newspapers, and let them know about this situation. From a TV and newspaper point of view, 'human interest' stories like this are manna from heaven, because it also involves somebody's pet dog, and nothing sparks people interest like animals and kids. If this can get publicized in the papers and on the news reports, somebody might remember a neighbor who just got a new adult GSD that looks alot like this dog...or a vet tech might remember the dog that came in yesterday, a new patient whose owner didn't have any previous medical records for their dog...

We definitely need to get this conversation on the lips of every dog person out there. There's got to be people on here who know Dean Calderon--get in touch with him, and see what he's got to say about Cory Dewberry. Dewberry apparently used to be in some sort of partnership or training group with another trainer in that vicinity, but it seems that relationship split up earlier this year...what can thay guy tell trixx about Dewberry, and what he might have done with Teddy?

Tell somebody you know in the dog community about this, and ask them to tell someone else, too. Like that old Faberge shampoo commercial--"She told someone about it, and then she told someone, and so on, and so on," ad infinitum. The more people who know this dog is missing, the better chance there is of finding out what happened to him...even if the news is what everyone is dreading. It's better to at least know that, than to spend a lifetime wondering.

well I stumbled upon this by accident while looking for a way to contact JENNIFER who is a friend and lost her email.  :) and I need the Oklahoma friends contact info! (code here)

Bob, now we in Ohio are not all twits.  Each state has its share.

If you have Cory's telephone please call him directly  - I am in the area and can assist with contact  info if you need.  I am truly sorry to hear you are having any problem but lets hope for the best and try to make that contact for you.  Feel free to email me privately and I will help as best I can.

btw, anyone looking for trainers in the great state of Ohio, I am happy to hand out those I refer to clients too.   We have some excellent ones!  With real credentials too!

Cheers

ok , finnally  its going let me post- something was wrong with the database and my browser-

well i went down to Pickerington, OH

i looked everywhere and also  get a hold of the humane  soceity in a few counties, they have my infor.

i also talked with neighbors on that road and gave pics and my details and there was only 1 neighbor that had seen Teddy run of that night in question,   that is the only lead i have .

there were no signs on  the road, but  there were  some people that did see signs at stores etc..

i did talk with cory and he think someone has Teddy , i looked all around that area and  there is no sign of Teddy.

i did get my crate and paperwork back from cory, i did not have  any problems with Cory he gladly gave back my stuff, but my main concern is to find Teddy , cause as you all have said someone knows where Teddy is.

we have to find him.

if anyone  needs to get a hold of me ,email me or call me anytime.

bteifke@new.rr.com  or 715-801--0000  ( home )

i did talk with Molly , so please no one else needs to tell me.  i have had alot of emails on this.  and no that information did not go anywhere, i sure wish it did.

i just got back from Ohio a day ago.

i met alot of nice people that will surely look for teddy.

thank you for caring-

in my book this is one nite mare i wish to never repeat.

thank you

Bea
