Welcome home warrior. I salute you for the debt I owe you but can not repay.  Of my travels and service in the middle east their is no warrior that compares to our fighting forces. Again welcome home and hunker down for fun!

Why post on a two year old thread?

I have this funny obsession with phony vets.  I can't seem to let a liar pass unchallenged.

I guess it has to do with my concerns that this generation of combat veterans not end up like the veterans of the Vietnam War.

Liars and con artists disgrace legitimate veterans.  They steal money and services from those who have really served- and through their lying, they bring shame onto real Vets.

A good example of how lying about military service hurts real vets, would be the lying, phony Vet named Jesse Macbeth.

Furthermore, in 2005, a Federal Law was passed entitled the Stolen Valor Act, that makes it a crime to claim awards and decorations that one has not received.  Many people, servicemembers, veterans and civilians alike have taken it upon themselves to expose phony vets wherever they find them.

So yeah, to some it may seem stupid to resurrect a two year old thread to call out a phony Vet, but honor doesn't have a statute of limitations.

Not to encourage this resurrection further, but how exactly does one research the combat history of someone with only the name "funkman" to go on? Wow, military intelligence has really blossomed if you can pull that one off.

I see.
Your on a mission then.
Going all the way back to Vietnam.
Do you understand what went down, and how it all happened back then?
And does this really accomplish anything?
This just isn't the place and I don't want to give you the wrong idea.   I support what you after, just not your method.
Moons.
