Shepherd Woman, don't read the threads that don't interest you. That's what the rest of us do.

Do Right--I'd say 'count to ten'.....but you're probably already doing that---Now, let's see...you posted an hour ago according to the date/time box on my screen.  So...give about  '3, (slow), counts to 10' per minute....and multiply by 60 minutes.  You must have just passed 1800.  Why don't we round that number off to..say..2000. (LOL)

I agree---very good post.

And Blitzen, don't read the ones that don't interest you such as the long coats!

Shepherd Woman,

Don't worry, they always claim everyone's entitled to their own opinion until you vary from theirs, then they tell you you could just go away.

I completely agree, this got old ages ago, and the same person/people just keep bringing it up and beating a dead horse.

I agree, excellent post!  Cops are human and do make mistakes, that is understandable.  What is not is when one refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes.  If this deputy had said, "I'm so sorry, I panicked and shot the dog," or something to that effect I could forgive even this I think.  That however is not going to happen.  Instead, the SO will close ranks, find the officer justified in the shooting (which will practically ensure that it will happen again,) and sweep it under the rug.  Unless, of course the public continues to pressure them to do a fair and unbiased investigation.

And shepherd woman,  is someone twisting your arm and forcing you to read this?  If so maybe you should call the police.

ShepWoman,

Say what you think....don't let them bully you off just because you're stating the obvious.

The LEO bashing here is terrible. I'm so tired of hearing of the "blue line & they will all protect each other" - BS. I can't count the # of comments eluding to "f'ing cops... nothing will ever be done.

Really... I know another PA Statie that missed 1 court date (1st 1 ever missed in a 10yr career) by sheer accident & got a 3-day, NO pay suspension - no one covered his but

My Hubby is a 20 yr Vet w/ the PA State PD & NO ONE sticks up for the other - hell, they'll only cover their own rear-ends... unless you are out there, everyday... some of you LEOs have mention favors" from other other LEOs... great... add to the haters argument.

My 8th grade MALE teacher tried to sleep with me but that was in the mis 70s when you didn't mention it...

not all teachers are like this.

Now, that being said, I'm pretty close with Phoenix PD LEOs & some of the K9 LEOs... & the thin blue line only went as far as on duty & keeping each other safe.

AS FAR AS MAX's death w/ 7 shots... VERY , VERY sad.... was it too much - OF COURSE..  THeLEO shouls step up to whatever happened that day. He should offer some sort of restitutiom if found guilty. Go the Civil route the since guilt isn't found the same way. It's all very tragic.

(((( HUGS)))) to the family.

That's why all my K9s are inside

EVERYONE has to take the step up to the crime but let's put this in some order. I'm in rescue. EVERYDAY, I get horrible emails of animal abusers getting a slap on the wrist or a FINE it they are prosecuted at ALL. We had an incident of 3 lambs being sadistically tortured & killed by the local High School football hereos... GUESS what, the school district, the Magistrate (who 1 of the kid's Mom's worked as a clerk) & Principal were going to sweep it away. THe boys were still going to get to go to homecoming dance & play in the games & 1 was allowed to serve on the "court". The Staties & local PDs wanted to arrest these little sadist perps. I Called PETA, HSUS, etc & let hem get involved.

Farmer Joe just wanted a few hundred bucks for the lambs - YUCK..

It seems that some of you are jumping on the "most Cops are bad, evil, crooked" bandwagon.

There are millions of honorable LEOs out there.

It's sad the ladywolf can't even be in thesame room w/out getting ill... thought of counseling ? You hatred of LEOs is really scary.

Blitzen, York PA is a such a criminal mill - not...

when some of you live where there is real crime... LA, PHX, Houston, etc.

how many of you or all your family members completely crime free - never partied? neverstle, never indulged in violence... guess what... bet you're wrong if you all think you are beyone the law...

the "I know of sever bad cops" or "guess what I got a ticket for" wah, wah, wah...

I've beed arrested on a bogus charge (was dating a Cop @ the tme but that didn't help me) but I still believe in our LEOs & what 95% of them do EVERYDAY .

Quit yer whining & help the abused animals out there - y'know.. the ones being set on fire, shot, nail gun to the head... or GASSED (a la Nazis) in pounds in the US everyday. How about the poor puppy mill dogs or dogs in research labs living horrible tortured lives.

Your eneregy against Cops is being wasted.

Get Max's story out there. Any of them over persecuted start an online petition yet? GET PROACTIVE

Did you all call/email YOUR LOCAl media to get the story out or sitting around telling bad cop stories... bet I have 1000s more bad civilian stories

Max is @ the Rainbow Bridge now..... Keep his memory alive
