dawgma  you two must be related you and ddr/sdg you just knock ddr dogs let me guess you  breed  american sheperds!! and your hips went out know you just set around the pc knocking a better dog than you own!! im sure if you wanted to improve on your breeding line you would look to a ddr dog or czech dog. thanks joe t

I have had/have 2 females with mostly DDR. What I have noted is nice BIG heads, nice structure, but some nerve issues.... both could have done the bitework with or without a sleeve, no problem! Tracking was excellent too. Obedience was OK.. not great but OK! Both Lord grdts. Both dogs very loyal. Both crack a whip and look out at a young age, explosive! In the nerve... not sure how either would react if I weren't in the picture for protection...if I were there I would bet my life on either girl dying for me! I don't think I would try another from the same lines. The one still here is a "problem child" her whole life. But I love her anyway.... check her out... Yette v Frolic Haus!

yes if you look to the top ranking west german lines that score high they have ddr dogs in them probably lord l.o.l. you keep naming ddr dogs with low scores cause you have al l there pedigrees and scores well you better back up and  look real close at the west and czech dogs eropeon too they all have some dogs with low obediance scores  some have to do with blood lines some with trainers. or maybe the dog had a bad day. you diddnt know that we have our ddr trials at night with hail storms and tornadoes and huricanes .this is the only time we trial so we can make our dogs adapt to eny surronding. you would have a bad score too if you were told to down and a tornado lifted you up and sat you on the judges shoulders. l.o.l. or you went to jump a hurdle and it moved three feet right as the dog jumped. l.o.l. dont get me wrong there are some very good west german dogs. most are show lines im not keen on them but they are pretty to look at but have you ever had walked onto a field with a show line dog to work and he looked at the helper like yes can i sit this one out. you might get a hint. west german they are good carosel horses. round and round!!! if we put some sadles on we could charge admission!!
