True, but it hardly seems worth the effort if in the end it degenerates into belittling those whos opinions are different  just because someones itching  for a fight.  That's a fight only a  masochist could love!

But Sue, those of use who choose to put on a suit or sleeve and get bit by dogs are a bit maochistic are whe not?

Oh my goodness, I never looked at like that, but now that you mention it..........hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........Now I get it!!!!  I wore the sleeve once just to get an idea about it.  It sure gave me a different prospective.  I do believe everyone should have to get a bite at least once.

Sue, you've got it. Better yet, if you want to train your dog better learn to do helper work.

By the way, how many of these top trainers mentioned have put a bitch on one of the world teams? Who's done it twice? Time for some reasearch kiddies!!!

Oops, forgot Wallace, and a few others...

You want "history?" Numbers? OK.

Preston Heller, Mike Pinksten, Rita Ledda, Chris Madsen, Bill Kulla, Dena McGowen, Patty Garcia, Coleen Gorgas, Steve Robinson, Steve Lino, Sandy Filo, many, many more who just kept pounding out great dogs and great performances. I don't mean always WINNING. I mean consistently turning out excellent working dogs. The "do not miss" performances we marked in our programs on draw nights...

My old USA magazines are all in storage, but if I pulled them out I'm sure I could add  at least 20 more names to this list. Memory fails... If I have left you out, please forgive me.

If you want my nominee for sportsmanship, I'd have to nominate Martin Vollrath... so many times a bride maid by a point or two in the eighties before finally becoming the bride. Ha ha ha

Add Joan Elliot. One aged woman, with one nice dog, (was it Heiko?) one hell of a good performance. Ya gotta love a woman who pulls up with a gorgeous dog loose in the back of a luxury car and does her routine in a skirt... or on crutches! God Bless her.
