Silbersee, based on the two photos above I'd have to say, yes, you have a great looking top quality GSD female. Looks to me like she has a lot of confidence in her eyes. Yep looks like top show quality to me based on these two photos. A very valuable bitch. Congratulations to you. Who wouldn't want a top quality GSD like this? Creme of the crop no doubt.

Thanks for the comment, Preston. I appreciate that. Her temperament and structure was the reason I kept her back. The reason she is for sale is that she is missing one tiny P-1.

This missing tooth puts her in the category of an SG-rating and KKL2, though. I go by SV regulations, and that makes her still a breeding candidate. And that is why I am selling her with unlimited registration for $1,200.

Congratulations!  Good luck with her.

Preston/CRhuerta

lol    you two are such idiots!  lol

Most people on here were smart enough to see that I was yanking Chris's chain. Showing what it feels like to have people attack and make judgements about you without hardly having any information; I was just knit-picking the pictures.

Yes chris has nice dogs but so does Malinda who has had her reputation and character soiled by people telling lies and half truths and many of you smelling blood and jumping in without knowing anything for a fact. Likely some people will read your remarks and not buy from her so you people who did this should be ashamed.

Now to ask a selection question.

When i select a trailing/scenting dog i do not want one that leans on me. i have found in most cases they do not "lead out" as confidently as the dogs that do not lean when sitting or standing by me.

As anyone else ever observed this or found this not to be true for their dogs?

by crhuerta on 02 July 2007 - 03:07

Actually.......you sounded like the idiot .

What are you ranting about?   Chris posted a picture and I gave my professional opinion about the dog.

I don't know Chris,...I like some of her dogs and comment regarding them.

I could care less who's pulling who's chain.

Read my posts on this matter before you post a juvenile rant like that.

Anyone who chooses not to buy from a breeder because of  "Forum posts" like these,....without educating themselves,... are fools themselves.

There are always going to be "discrental" buyers and "unethical" breeders in this dog world.........I know neither of the people concerned in this dealing....so I cannot have a personal opinion about either.......it's just a shame it has gone this far.

I to am a breeder and understand the feelings on both sides. However (not trying to get anyone upset) Genetic defects are not a case for the ASPCA or any other animal cruelty org. It is on the breeder. You take the chance when you breed two dogs together to get problems. You can have two O.F.A. ex dogs and get an displastic pup. It's like to people having a baby and both being healthy and the baby being born with downs or a hair- lip.

On the other side I do know what it is like to be ripped off and it is not pretty to feel the disappointment of getting a puppy and somthing going wrong .(Not saying the breeder did anything wrong I do not know her.)

I am sorry to hear these things and I will keep your little guy in my prayers and I will also keep both of you in them as well so the problem will be rsolved and both can move on.

So what has happened to Zach?  Malinda Julien, you sound like a good breeder and I would buy a dog from you, though we all take a risk breeding.  Sad for these people that have a suffering pup, though I had to get my 10 month old put down, it was what was best for her, not me. Keeping her alive would have been crule. Is that what has been done? With the pup I have now, I have to return her for a refund, not that money is an issue. If I was a breeder, If I couldn't get the pup back, I'd go to it to see with my own eyes to see what I had crated, give the refund and take the papers and do what I could to make this sad time better, ( but that's in a fantacy world). Some breeders may not have the time and need the dog returned, understandable..... If a week could be taken off for a dying pup, why not drive to the breeders to show and hope it never happens again, before it got to this point....... We all care, but nothing has changed for the pup. The breeder can not be blamed for nature, just for failing to see, if there was anything to be really seen at 9 weeks, what if the flite over caused things to go wrong? Who are we to judge, maybe the pup was given or spraied with something it reacted to, we can not say.

So what has happen to Zach?

It's great to watch the blame game but what a waste of time, even reading all the messages, what a waist of good time.

Out of it I see a good and caring breeder and a very upset buyer, who really wanted to know if others of the same litter where affected and where to buy another dog. The board took it to other places.

I also like it when people put their names to their posts, when accussing someone and an email address to show you are up front....

Silbersee how did you put your pics straght on the page? Think many would like to know

Robin, thanks for your comments as well! She would have definitely been a keeper for us if it was not for that tiny tooh.

DesertRangers, let's just call it a truce. We will never agree on something, anyway. I did not feel attacked or bashed. Jessi is a top quality dog and I think anybody can see that. So, there was no defensiveness on my part.

As to Malinda, I never bashed or attacked her. I had questions which I would have had as a prospective buyer of a puppy or a dog. I did not throw out halth truths, because I backed everything up with links. In addition, anybody who has been with her for longer than 5 years or so would have known what I mentioned. I never said anything about her training, since I have no information on that, only what was said here. And it really sounds good! As to her poor ailing puppy (that is a joke lol), I hope that he will have a good home or be returned to be rehomed to somebody other than a person with a Munchhausen Syndrome.  My prayers go with little Zach!

Ashah, to upload photos directly onto a thread, you need to open up an account with photobucket, imageshack or something similar. The photos need to be in your  photo album on that site. This service is free. Every photo in that album will have a URL. When you post here, go to the yellowish button with the mountain and the sun (in the middle row to the right) and click it on. It will open up a window. You need to paste the URL of the photo in there and click ok to confirm. That is all. I don't know if Oli has a restriction on size, but on our forum we have: It is 480x640, which is the size of the photos above. Anything larger will mess up the whole thread as people would have to scroll from left to right to read and the photo will not be viewable. Hope that helps.

I'm sorry, I just have to comment on the leaning thing. I've been a dog trainer for 7 years and trained easily several hundred dogs of all breeds. While leaning/stepping on you can indicate insecurity it is very often also a pushy gesture, throwing their weight around, if you will. I find a lot of dogs also lean on/bump their owner to avoid actually paying attention to heel.

In my experience you also connot read a dog on what aspect of body language only, you have to read the entire dog. The dog looks relaxed to me otherwise, but I would not presume to make a call on a dogs temperament based on one photo, without meeting the dog. I could easily take a picture of my dogs when I catch them red handed sniffing in the trash can, its quite a different look then when they are about to get sent for a bite.
