Yea well to bad I'm late for the MJ bashing party......

Knowing Malinda Julien probably better then all of you folks on here I would like to put my two cents in. I am Melissa Holman i worked along side of MJ for a number of years hell I even lived with her. My family is the PROUD owners of several VON ERZENGEL pups.... Some of the best i'd say. Genetic Defects? I think not? Despite that I can personally vouch that she follows her garauntee to the T. Our first Pup Raptor PYGAR X NITA was limping we took him to the vet seemed that this limp could be from an injury or he could turn out to be displastyic we mentioned it to Malinda not complaing just making sure she's aware she suggested immediately we trade the puppy or get a FULL refund. We even had to sign a medical release waiver, that we wouldn't hold her liable for any medical bills because we were offered a refund. She also helped us get rid of our shepherd Nikko witch was very unstable and helped us get a "REAL" one! So I think everyone should look at both sides.  Lady another thing get your story straight before you start posting bulletins and complaining.... Malinda Julien is a very honest person why'd she make this up?

BreederBashers....Thinks for entertaining me tonight.....

Does anyone know whatever happened to this pup?

Puppy owner: Send the puppy back to the breeder -- she's given us her word she honors her contracts.

He will have to be put down eventually.  You might as well face up to it.  It's tragic, but unless you want to hold onto him until the end for his sake, return him.

I've been thru this and I kept a sick dog and it didn't actually do him any good in the end.

Sad story for all involved. Depressing for a breeder, as sooner or later all of us who produce more than a few litters in a lifetime are going to or have already bred at least one "litter from hell" despite or best intentions. Nowadays, thaks to the wonders of modern technology (the 'net) we can all look forward to ourselves and every dog we own even remotely related to said litter being maligned and assualted in public forums when/if that unhappy day arrives, years of consciencious, ethical breeding and customer service practices dismissed, shunned by our peers and free only to crawl into a hole and pull it in over us.

iluvmyGSD-

I had the distinct pleasure of receiving an actual telephone call from the renowned Preston Heller some weeks ago after 20+ yrs. of admiring what he has done for the sport and the breed from a distance. Frankly, I was honored to be able to speak to such a pillar of the foundation of SchH sport in this country (blushing here) PH is a legend in his own time in Schutzhund sport and breeding circles. If you can get a hold of any old Schutzhund USA magazines, I suggest you take a look at the ads, all the outstanding dogs PH imported into this country to get our breeding and sport programs off to a good healthy start.  The list is long and distinguished!

I look forward to Mr. Heller's posts here and other places online, and hope one day to meet him in person, sit down in front of a few beers, and PICK HIS BRAINS, hoping to glean just a few of the pearls of wisdom he might be willing to drop on the table in front of me, and praying I have the background, experience and intellectual capacity to fully understand and appreciate those pearls.

Yours in the Sport and the Breed,

Shelley Strohl

I can't believe this thread was resurrected or that I took the Loooooonnnng time to scroll down and read this last entry, but saw your name Shelley.......so took the trouble.

I've never tried to befriend anyone here.  If I'm completely honest, I can't stand about 99% of the people that post........but then......they can't stand me, so we're even.  I don't know Preston, personally......but recognized his honest and genuine love for the breed.  Julie----I wish you could have read the posts that I did-----hopefully, you would have a different impression of Preston. And......I saw the other thread about Boss. No matter how careful we are with our dogs.........life happens.  He's probably fine.

I am flattered. Gives me an idea... I think I'll start a thread on "Who's posts do you look for?"
