Echo I am so sorry for you. Great big HUG from here. It sounds like you are doing all you can. Just don't give up. I lost my girl In 1993 for 9 days! She was in bad shape and was scared to go to people. At first the sitings everyone said she was heading to them, she was an out going dog. Then it changed. I had done everything you have done and traveled up to 150 miles to look in Spokane animal shelters. I had flyers everywhere. All calls folowed up on. Finally one call came that sound like it was her for sure. I went back to the area for 2 days, then I called every listing on a road called Cherry Creek . That afternoon I was called back and I found my girl. So don't give up Echo, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Dago. Wyeth is a lucky boy to have found you and your hubby!

Best of luck in finding Drago

I had head this about the GSD, If they move to a new home even with the owner they will do everything in their power to go home for about 6 months. They are very loyal to their home and family. Well I moved, I also had a lot of construction going on at the time, 1st thing I had built was a dog run. Still I had construction guys leave gates open, doors. for about 5 months my GSD did everything in her power to leave, she is also the type that is glued to me. The old house she never left our yards. She is now settled in and would not think of leaving the yard. I think it would be best when rehoming a GSD, people should be told, they will split, no matter how much they like you, until they settle in. I have had a few rescues (gsd) try and do the same thing. I had one scale and 8ft block wall.

I applaud your efforts to find your dog and your quick thinking. I hope you find him safe and healthy on the door step.

It must be gut wrenching to worry and not know if he's okay. I'm so sorry for both you and Drago.

Best wishes,

Dawg

Thank You everyone,  We have contacted the Radio Stations too,  forgot to mention that in the first posts...  I have notified the authorities that we have this dog here, and that it is not our dog just so they know that we have someones dog here and it's not ours as we had originally thought.  (well hubby anyway).

Thank You all so much for your wishes and prayers,  You have no idea how much I appreciate your thoughts.  Thank You all.

and I'll keep you posted.

Dago is microchipped,  I have contacted AVID and notified them that he is LOST.

Wyeth,  is not microchipped,  and I have placed several ads regarding that we have found him.

Wyeth is recovering nicely so far,  He is feeling much better and his antics are just too much,  he comes in from the yard from "potty time" and bounces and whines,  Jumps on me and slobbers my face,  so far I am the only one he wants much to do with,  But the hubby has been mauling him too,  just to get him to understand we did not intend to scare or hurt him yesterday,  It was do or die time when he grabbed him,  had he not I think he would have been gone for good,  He was only days away from going down,  He wobbled around last night when he walked but today he has seemed to stablize and can walk without loosing balance....

The search for Dago continues,  and I appreciate your continued prayers and thoughts,  ThankYou all so much.
