If this is a joke, it's not very funny since so many folks in the USA show dogs like this in AKC specialty and all breed shows and think hey are terrific.  If it is not a joke, serious learning by the owner of what the FCI standard is all about is in order immediately.

This dog is not a German Shepherd, it is an American Shepherd.  Typical flat beatle type narrow snoot, bitchy head, very long back, lack of bone, sickle hocked, steep croup, no wither, no male type, etc.  All the usual flaws we see in American Shepherds that are suposed to be actual German Shepherds.   Folks, the American Shepherd is a different breed than the FCI/SV German Shepherd.  They don't look like the FCI/SV standard specifies, don't act the the FCI/SV standard specifies, and don't move the the FCI/SV standard specifies.  Thus it's not a real German Shepherd at all, but an American Shepherd.

As long as folks realize this and understand what the vast majority of these American Shepherds (AS) are and accept them as a distinctly different dog from the true German Shepherd of the FCI/SV, then that is okay.  But one should then realize that these ASs are very narrow use dogs, many can side gait around the ring a few times and look extreme but correct to the uninformed, but then they start breaking down.  Most are faulty in looks, gait and temperament overall when compared to the FCI/SV standard.  In my view most of these dogs are like long stretched taffy with flat small heads, weak temperament, sickle hocks, steep croups, lack of bone and no sex type. Truly a sad state that these AS types were bred into over time because of no breed surveys, no corrections.

 Kiserhoff, - you asked....my answer is - pathetic. At least admit all you do this for is to make money. Why not just get an honorable job instead of passing these dogs off as top line GSDs....Have you even read a breed standard for the GSD? Any of them?

It is very cear from her posts on this board ( the new goodle search is very enlightening) and her website that what she is all about is making money and suckering people. The h_ll with the breed.

I would not consider because my dog is show German bloodlines strictly.

But, you may find some akc owners who would consider.

You can't fix stupid.

Blitzen you are too kind to call her stupid. If you read her past posts she knows how to dissemble  effectively to board members( several offered her a dog to buy - apparently w/o doing their homework).

To me that indicates at least some knowledge of what the correct or desired or right behavior is and therefore I have to assume her behavior and attitude does not come from stupidity but rather venality (the condition or quality of being venal; openness to bribery or corruption; venal - able to be purchased;mercenary). It's all about the money.

IT'S NOT ABOUT THIS STUD DOG BUT (wich i thinf is too long, no croup and feminine and no OFA cert.) IT IS ABOUT ALLE THE REST.  BREEDING BEFORE HEALTH CLEARANCE WHEN THE DOGS ARE TOO YOUNG AND HAVE NO PEDIGREE OR TITLES! AND WHAT IS THAT BE SOLD WITHOUT PAPERS DU TO PEDIGREE. THIS IS ABOVE STUPID!

BY THE WAY...IT'S NOT BECAUSE OUR DOGS HAVE MORE ANGULATION THAT THEY ARE CRIPPLE.  CRIPPLE DOGS DON'T MOVE EASILY LIKE THE AM. GSD. THEY CAN EVEN RUN, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??

I HAVE SEEN MY SHARE OF GERMAN OR EUROPEAN GSD THAT ARE UP FOR STUD THAT I WOULDN'T BREED.  SOME ARE BEAUTIES BUT SOME LOOK LIKE BRIDGE CAUSE THEY ARE TOO ROACH BACK...AND ABOUT THE CROUP..PLEASE THEY ARE NOT BETTER IN GERMANY.  DID YOU LOOK IN THAT DATABASE..SORRY..BUT I THINK THAT PEOPLE SEE WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE..MAAYBE THAT'S THE PROBLEM!  LOVE MAKES YOU BLIND.
