What about the altered (photo shopped) pedigrees on her website?  That kind of causes a knee jerk reaction to me!  I would not consider any of her dogs....titled or not because of the altered (photo shopped) pedigrees!  The lack of titles dosen't bother me as much as the appearance of dishonesty with the pedigrees being tampered with!

NONE of her breeding dogs are titled.  NO titles.  So, "good" would be relative to if the person interested in a puppy is interested in getting one from parents who are proven to be breedworthy by being worked AND titled, or not.  For me personally, not.

Again it goes back to the debate of titles or no titles.

Personally I want a well balance dog.

It does not mean crap to me if the dog has schh 3, IPO 3, SVV3 and every other title IF he is producing bad hips/has bad hips.

Give me a dog that  has a good drive, will protect himself, his master and his home, can use his nose, and has a balance temperament

working structure, and GENETICALY sound. This is what I want reguardless of titles but hey if they have them then that is great too

Now days most titles can be bought

Here we go again about tiltes!!

Let the dog tell you what he/she is all about...

This board is awful about titles  ( for example if someone has a schIII, FH, Ect in the pedigree they think they should get top dollar for each pup ) Once again let the dog tell you what he/she is about. I don't mean to rub some of you the wrong way but we need to educate alot of people to understand the marketing ploys here in this forum. I really can not stand to see people market their pups at 7 weeks and say they are dual purpose candidates, single purpose, PPD, top sport, and family companions all in one!!

TS

I hear you on that. The dog makes the titles and pedigree not the other way around. Too many people forget that.

ok, so if you are looking for a working-prospect puppy, or even a puppy of excellent quality that will have good temperament and nerve - and you don't care if the parents are titled, but you DO care that the parents COULD be titled, worked, have excellent temperament, nerve - they are the dogs you yourself think should be bred, title or not - how do you know anything about dogs in a kennel such as this who have NO titles at all?  Do you assume they are good dogs, with good temperament, sound joints - they SHOULD be able to jump a meter, climb, land from 6' up, retrieve, have good nerve, would bite under pressure, with good solid calm grips - or do you test them yourself then?  Watch a video?

for breeding, titles are a good proof of breedworthiness - yes there are bought titles but for the most part, it is a test of breedworthiness that is lost without any titles at all.
