 If you need any information on the pedigrees on Dragons site or on her dogs call her she is very easy to reach and will talk dogs with anybody.I  can answer the pedigree question as I know both dogs. Sax Lu Ke was owned by Dragon Gsd as was his littermate Suzi Lu ke.(both are titled by the way) Sax Lu ke is now owned by Arizona Shepherds (most of his dogs have come from Dragon GSD). Suzi is still owned by Dragon. I know that Melanie always prefers to use Original pedigrees when possible so she probably used Suzi's (same as Saxs) as she had it on hand.

Actually, only going by the picture posted here, the name Suzi Lu Ke is not put over any writing, it's actually under the name Sax Lu Ke (which would be a littermate) - there is a blank in that area on Czech import papers. As for the title of the pedigree 'Yaxi's sire' I believe that is only over the sex of the dog but would have to double check.

Why this was done instead of scanning Suzi's would need to be asked of Melanie as everything else would be speculation and probably wrong.

And why is this such a big ass deal? Maybe she is doing what is easiest for her. Maybe she doesn't know about sitstay's website, maybe she is too busy working her dogs and pups to take a few hours to type on up. If they are dogs from the same litter who cares? Maybe it's best she leaves it obvious, so people can ask and know. Why is building a whole new pedigree on sitstay any more honest? If she wanted to con someone, I'm sure she would have done a little better job. Anybody can type up a pedigree, doesn't make it true.

As far as her dogs being untitled, I noticed her site a long time ago. She has very nice stock, the bloodlines are good, titles or not. After this small execution on here, it's no wonder she doesn't want anything to do with showing or titling dogs. Who needs the crap? I pretty much don't want much to do with trialling either. Training and up until all of that, is fine with me. After that, the waters get dirty and the sharks start moving in. Some people are non confrontational or shy. We all know you must be a warrior to make it in this dog world for long.

I don't know the lady in question and so am not defending her. I'm just stating what comes to my mind, as to why. Could be a hundred different reasons. She has hers and it's non of our affair. If you don't like her pedigrees or her non titled stock, click off her website and don't feel the need to buy a dog from her.

I get tired of the daily Big Brother crap on here about somebody or another. If you ave an issue with someone, why post it? Write them, call them and get the answers. All you are getting here is more speculation.

With all do respect Molly; Kobra vom Eichenluft is not titled and/or breed surveyed and you are still breeding her. I know of a lot of narcotic certified dogs and they came out of dog pounds. That doesnt make them all necessarily breed worthy because of narcotics, cadaver, SAR or what ever they are certified in. Stop contradicting your self Molly!

Goodness!  I didn't mean to cause a rant and fire you up! 

Someone asked if this kennel was a good one and I simply posted what caused me to get Red Flags!  I was at one time interested in a puppy from her but didn't like the way the pedigree was photoshopped.  So after an exchange of emails with Melanie and still feeling like I did not like what I saw I did EXACTLY what you said!  I CLICKED OFF OF HER SITE!  I know to some it isn't a big deal but I don't know her, if I did it might be another story, and the internet is full of people getting a bad deal on a dog!  How many times have we had to listen to someone boohoo because they got scewed?!?  Not saying that this would happen with Melanie but I was not willing to take the chance and all I did was express what concerns I had for the person who is ACTUALLY DOING THEIR HOME WORK!!!!!  IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH THAT I AM SO SORRY!  If the pedigree had been on there unaltered I probably would not ever have noticed!  Since I have not seen a Czech pedigree how am I to know what is under the photoshopped portions?  I am only experienced with Belgian Pedigrees (LOSH) and the Pink Paper pedigrees.  I don't think my concerns are unvalidated!

To each their own - I didn't say the person asking shouldn't get a dog from this kennel, I said I wouldn't, and gave my reasons.  As for Kobra - she isn't from the pound.  She is an excellent female who is working titled AND has been worked in tracking, obedience, protection as well as being a certified working detection dog.  I know ALL about her and do consider her breedworthy for my program, titles or not.  People interested in puppies from my program can decide for themselves if Kobra's lack of Schutzhund titles matters to them or not - if they saw her working they would probably decide she was A-ok for breeding.  Schutzhund titles are not the be all end all eh?  But they are a good test for breedworthiness, especially if you as puppy buyer cannot see the dog working for yourself, the titles are proof that the dog has worked and has passed working tests.

ps I have a planned breeding for Kobra for the fall, months away - and all of the puppies are spoken for, to serious working homes - why?  Because people who have seen Kobra working, want a puppy from her.  Go figure.

I think what flipped my switch was, you said you had a "heated" discussion with her but didn't elaborate. Did you ask about the pedigrees, did she give you an answer or did you just get weird with her and try to catch her in something and she picked up on that? I can just see myself getting a strange call form someone not asking about my pups or dogs and grilling me over how "unprofessional" my web page looked. I'm not really heated, because like I said I don't know her or really care what the outcome is. Either way, this has nothing to do with me or mine.

Just get sick of...oh look at so and so's add, they are breeding, blah blah blah. Or look at this stud that is 12 months old. Oh look at this website, it's so tacky! Do we always have to nit pick and embarrass people?

See,  it does not matter to many "IF" the dog has titles as you just pointed out in Kobra (Like the name) . IF the dog can do the work then there should be no big deal about it.  I bet Kobra comes from proven lines too.

Identify yourself ? cheap shots are not neccessary or do you want to identify yourself so we can work on your faults and take you on....no.....go back to your club.....where is it...?   you must be one of those they kicked out .......and rightly so...

I understand that Melanie on this kennel, is quite well known for knowing her breeding and doing a great job , studying the ancesters and deciding who to breed...she does title and work her dogs, and as some would try to say.....she has not tiltles,what shes doing is wrong...like Molly breeding the known bitch known lines, known healty, known progheny are going to be the best in the breed, without titleed parent or parents.......shes not going to hell because of it....and the world of gsd wont end tomorrow because of it....this Dragon has a good reputation and by Golly Molly     check out her dogs in person.....go visit   ,  if you dont likey   move on....but do not bash her...or     MOllY......
