Maybe all the pups from Kobra are sold because you finally used a real stud dog instead of your DUD STUD Eagle.

Not bashing anyone, just pointing out the obvious. Never said Kobra had a bad pedigree nor have I said she was from the pound. On the contrary her pedigree is quite good.  Never put down Molly's accomplishments either. Just pointed out that even Molly breeds with an untitled and  Ohne Koerung female that's it! Molly just likes to point out the No Titles and the Not Breed surveyed dogs and I called her on it. So why not Melanie? Btw never meet Melanie nor have I ever talked to her.

I have another question for Molly. Being an experianced handler and trainer you state Kobra has been trained so why did you not title her it is not like you did not have the chance while touring with Eagle. Something is rotten in Denmark. It is really not hard to get a SCH 1 with a dog that has the correct drive and tempermant. Yet not title on this bitch HUMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

HMMMMMMM yourself Lee Hough.  Dud stud eh?  Eagle is outstanding.   His offspring are also excellent and doing VERY well.  Jealousy always rears it's ugly head.  I use him for my program and will continue to do so - however I'm always looking at other stud dogs, have always done so - very very picky about ones I use - but when I find one I really like, yep I'll use him.  Kobra is excellent and I think the stud I found for her is an excellent match for her.  Yep she's working, has always worked - in Schutzhund and detection.  Just never cared about titling her, she's a working narcotics detection K9 and that takes a lot of time.  But, who knows, Schutzhund titles might still be coming for her.    And the litter planned, puppies were spoken for before we chose the stud.  Kobra is a dog who turns heads anytime she's out working, very impressive and strong working female.

as for the kennel here - as I mentioned I feel it is a huge red flag that NONE of her dogs are titled in ANYTHING.  Not even obedience titles.  Nothing.  No conformation ratings, no BH's, nada.  Plus I would also have to find out why the pedigrees were altered.  And where all of those dogs are kept, how are they all worked, etc.  I would not personally look at puppies from a kennel with so many studs, and many many females, all of whom are untitled.   Bottom line - if you don't like what you see in a kennel, don't like the dogs or the program, then don't buy a puppy from them.  End of story.

How do we know she is exellent unless she is titled. Is that not SV standard. Are you not a breed warden for the USA. Does the USA mow promote the breeding of untitled dogs. And if she is working as a full time narcotics dog which I doubt how do you get her time off to breed. You produce many litters a year, how many 4 or 5 average for the last 4 years. Where are these titled schutzhund dogs at. I am sure I did not miss one as it would be posted all over the internet, well at least where you are still allowed.

Honestly Molly some day Eagle may produce a few dogs that can squeak out a title. But you are blind if you think he will ever reproduce the dog he was, or is and ever will be a top stud. Even after this the percentage of dogs produced with enough drive to title will be very low. He has 20 litters as of now where are these great dogs he is going to produce. You breed him for the same reason we climb mountains because it is there. You use the internet to promote you breedings so you can mass produce these litters and sell the pups. You breed for quantity not quality.  Pump them out Molly until Eagle has a pup titled i remain correct in every statment I have just said.

Molly:   Who is    SG Dante Traho SchH3 FH KKl2?  or should I say   who owned that gsd?

by eichenluft on 09 August 2007 - 23:08

I believe Lee is pissed LOLOLOLOL - such a jealous mentally unstable person.  Attack me and my dogs all you like - we are what you will never be, and never will have.  Excellent.  UNtil you have seen Kobra work you have not seen an excellent working female - unless you consider females who run away from the helper standing in the blind, and run away from their own handler excellent?  Guess so, since that's what you breed in your program.

Yellowrose - I believe Dante has passed away, but was owned by Debbie Zappia.

Christ, all I did was ask a question, did not predict this type of outcome. I feel a need to offer an apology to Melanie. I'd heard she had nice dogs but the website was a little less than polished so I thought I would ask the forum to get some second hand opinions.

Wrong again.    LA Woman is NOT ME.   Heck, I don't even LIKE "the Doors"!  Wouldn't go accross the street to see them.    Lee
