larrydee & roborob .... using the Canine Complete the directions suggest 1 tbsp per 30#. Do you guys use that much with the quality of Orijen and fresh foods? I bought it once but went back to the Showstopper because I questioned the kelp as first ing. (kelp is somewhat cheap to buy) and flaxseed as second because some dogs are either alergic or can't use flax. Whats you guys take on that? I have to order somemore supplement and not sure which way to go.....

I use one tablespoon of Canine Complete twice a day  I just sprinkel it right on the food.   No problem with kelp.  Gunner is now 85 pounds.   I have told several breeders about Canine Complete and they just rave about it. They can't believve the difference it has made in their dogs.

Just walking Gunner today he is an all black one year old GSD.  Three people came up to me and said he has the best coat they ever seen.  What a beautiful dog.  I hear that every day.   Well tomorrow the 11th were having a birthday party for Gunner he is now offically one year old.  We have invited a bunch of his doggie friends over for a little party. I can just see it now!!!  Play time. Frget the party that dog loves to play.

Same here as far as the Canine Complete, Corrie gets a tablespoon a day just sprinkled on top of the kibble...I know the Orijen brand dog food offers the dog a complete diet so when we finish this next bag (talk about expensive stuff, oh yeah and hard to get unless you get it on line) we're going to go with just the Orijen...I have no problem with that at all...

The proof is in the dog and she speaks for herself, she is a beautiful dog with a coat to die for...

 Have a good night,

  Rob

Crooked creek ranch:   I said    Natural Choice   made by Nutro Max   has menadione in it   its called   sodium  dadadadadad   Vit K activity......and its in their  Holistic formula which is a big lie indeed........   it says all natural     menadione is by far anything natural....is a synthetic and is not for human consumption and was not passed by FDA

It is not needed and doesnt belong in a dogs liver or pancreas....it and dyes and BHA and nitrates and nitrites     or many other things found in bags...and dont bother to call the manufacturor   .....does any one really think they would tell what floor they mopped the food up off of that went in your bag....

and why corn is number on , and meal of three kinds along with wheat is any good for any dog........

CORN IS FOR HOGS NOT FOR DOGS............................

Looks like I got busted trying to read without my reading glasses again. Getting old stinks!!  Sorry Yellowrose I obviously misread Natural Choice for Nature's Variety. Half the time I can't find my glasses and just try to read anyway:(

Trailrider, the reason they probably offer "free shipping" on items over $50 is because they actually work shipping into the price of the food, that is why it is more expensive to buy it online than it would be if a local store sold it.  Because I live in a rural area I know the deal with that, I found Flint River Ranch works very well for my dogs(free UPS shipping if ordered through their website), although I do wish they had a grain free formula......The Trout & Potato formula is close....

VBK9, yeah I figured they had their price adjusted somewhat to include s/h, but I had looked at a couple other online distributors of Orijen and they  had wanted the same price as K9Cuisine plus the shipping! Ahg! It was about $85 a 29.7# bag! So I emailed the company and they told me about K9....'s policy. I contacted my local pet food store and she made one call to one of her distributors but they do not carry it. I am going to touch base tomorrow with her again on who is listed on Champions site. I did use FRR at one time, I liked the fact it was baked. I can't remember why I moved on. Its been awhile, I didn't realise they even had different formulars now.
