Ugly, I've already apologized to Abhay for rushing to judgement regarding his intent and I don't usually have a big issue with you or your opinions whether I agree or disagee. I'd appreciate  your giving me the same respect.

Frankly, I am deeply offended by your minimizing of the atrocites that have been proven to have happened and the murder of millions of humans at the hands of the Nazi's. For starters, where did all those photos come from of all the naked, dead, emaciated bodies being piled into pits to be incinerated? I can surf the net finding links to support any theory I want to put forth. I can probably find a link that would say we are all sired by GSD's if I look hard enough. That doesn't mean it's true. Anyone can post anything to the net, so I tend to believe what I know to be a fact. Since I knew personally some people who were in those death camps as children and have seen their tattoos and heard their eye witness accounts of watching their parents and siblings being marched into  gas chambesr to never be seen again, I tend to believe them.  I odubt they were on their way to Disney World. Also, having had a relative who served with the Gestapo and who later committed suicide after being drive mad by the things he was forced to witness and do himself,  I am certainly not buying into the death-by-natural-causes spin doctoring.  Believe what you want, it's a free country.

Abhay, I stand corrected, I should have stated, that you also are one to get people worked up now and then.  I apologize for mis-stating a political bent on your part.  I read your posts frequently as I see you have a lot of knowledge to offer although you can stir the pot now & then and I may have taken some of your joking type threads too literally.  I did look back several months and I do stand corrected.  These 50ish hormones can really give someone serious brain fog sometimes....

With that said though, and knowing how you are very outspoken about your sometimes not so popular viewpoints, I would still be interested to know your thoughts as you seem to be quite diverse in your experiences in life.

And Ug, I am just trying to figure out what drives you.....not to start any conflict but to understand.  You are very passionate and spend much time with these issues, surely you have thought about solutions that would really work.  And given our choices for future president, I would consider voting for you....

There is a lady that lives in my area Hanukkah Ippisch . She was witness to this period of time and has wrote books and given speeches on the topic. I do believe the Holocust was as depicted, a vile time to live if you were of Jewish descent. When I first met Hanukkah I was delivering some painted Christmas decorations for a friend that worked for her and picking up some more to be painted. She was standing by my truck and when I opened the topper door and my dog stuck his head out I thought she was going to have a heart attack, he didn't even bark! I never asked but I always thought her reaction was to a large GSD and most likely linked to her past.

It's funny that you say that, my husband and I were just saying the same thing yesterday.  Remember some odd happening at age 5 but can't remember what day it is....LOL   I've tried the Ginko before, didn't really do much for my memory. 

Years ago I read a study that Alzheimer's was showing aluminum deposits in the brain at one time. Although, I just haven't wanted to go around without the use of deoderant - rather people think I'm ditzy than stinky.... LOL....did just start taking DE yesterday and wow, talk about increased energy.  Neighbor started taking it 2 weeks ago believing he had to start thinking about getting rid of his plumbing business as his knees just didn't want to work anymore and he was showing me how he feels like a teenager again.  Hope it helps with the brain fog too.

Ug - when you say you would close the borders, do you mean for us to become isolationist?  Would you allow immigration from other countries?  Also, would you make Supreme Court judges elected officials or leave the judicial branch alone?

I do know that immigration used to be much more selective, my grandfather had to have X $'s in the bank, a guaranteed job to come to and proof that he could provide for him and his family and his brother who came here and got in trouble with the law was immediately deported with no hope of coming back.
