There is no cure for stupid.

BTW, you might want to take about 10 lbs. off Yukon.  That much extra weight could put a strain on questionable hips.

Do you have a bill of sale for Yukon?

In Canada the breeder has to provide registration papers within 6 months of the sale of the dog.
After 6 months you just mail in a copy of the bill of sale, and the CKC will get the papers for you.
It is the seller's responsibility to uphold Canadian Federal law and provide the new owner with a certificate of registration within six months of the date of sale.

Its a $50,000 fine to sell purebred dogs with out registration here in Canada.

You said "The CKC has confirmed the litter is registered."

But if you do not have a bill of sale, how can the CKC go after the Breeder.

Shasta, at one point she was advertising the pups as  registered (APR). Now she says they are not eliglbe for registration. Score one for her.

I asked what an HOT PP1 and 2 dog was and what orgainization issued those "titles". Again, no response other than to tell me how great her dogs were .

She was also offering for sale on this database a bitch said to be OFA certified. There is no such dog listed on the OFA site. She has also said both Yukon and Mia have OFA numbers; neither of them are on the OFA site either and when I asked her for their numbers, she ignored me. I suggested to her that she might want to have OFA take a look at Mia's xray, the one she has posted on her site. They look questionable to me, but they picture is very small so they might be OK as she says. but I wouldn't put much money on her gettng an OFA number.

Stupid is as stupid does.

So glad to see this is being bumped. Lil you must be so grateful for the help. Tell me again how you can sleep at night? Oh yeah, on the bed paid for with the lives and health of small lives.

I hate what people like you do.

apparently mia didn't get pregnant, Thank god when bred to an 11 month old stud and both the stud and mia are for sale or sold already.  I guess that happens when money is your only motivation.

not to mention the mal/gsd crosses she used to have,  another breeding female with unknown background was touted as the best thing out there only to find out that she couldn't get pregnant either, then found out afterwards it was a mix as well.  It's defineatly a birds of a feather type thing as she used to or still does have friends that breed "silver labs" and rare breeders of white dobermans.

Like I said before, there are people born with her intelligence everyday, she'll have no problem selling puppies.  But lilmeg, you have to understand that once you step out of that realm, people can easily see you for what you are.

BTW, another google search revealed this.  Great read, lots of information, and lots of laughs.  Watch it Shasta, you don't want to be drinking anything near a computer.

I think you have been outed, lilmeg.  Time to move on to another dog board, isn't it?

MAN, this girl is all over the internet. For someone stating that she is too busy training dogs (to do Personal Protection Level 2 no doubt:-)) to spend any time on the boards, that's amazing. How does she find the time in the day:-) I just caught that when someone called her on that the dog was too young to OFA, her answer was to state that the dog is almost 3. NO answer on whether or not he was OFA'd. No problem, we can go to her website to find THAT information...apparently she doesn't believe in OFA because OFA doesn't have any guidelines to rate hips. Hmmm, PennHip? SOMETHING? When asked on one of the other threads on some GSD board (she's all over the place out there as the touted expert until the real experts expose her) about the hip ratings she gets all defensive and says "he's been xrayed thank you very much". Again...I could xray a broken bone but that doesn't mean it's not broken. I could xray HORRIFIC hips, and that doesn't mean that they're not horrific. Who the heck CARES that the dog was xrayed, it's the results of the xrays as done by a COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL (not some podunk vet paid enough to say they look fine) that anybody cares about. She goes on in one of the threads to go off about schutzhund because schutzhund is a sport, and she's not interested in sports. ROFL how can you be in shepherds and not know the origin of schutzhund was not that of a sport? It is a temperment test meant to test working ability. Granted it has turned into a sport, but it is still a well respected test of working ability. Not to start the whole "real dog" debate, but even those who don't like schutzhund have to agree that it is used and standard in most GSD circles. Apparently according to this "breeder" she's not interested in REAL titles, only made up ones. One of her puppies was sold to a correctional officer. What does that mean? is the pup being worked as someone's partner? or merely sold to a correctional officer? If I sold a dog to a doctor, does that make the dog a nurse? :-) Her entire litter is working ya know though...according to one of her posts apparently being obedience trained qualifies a dog as "working". My papillon is a working dog! Heck, my maltese mix is a working dog!!! She has working abilty, I think I'll BREED her! (actually my little froo dogs ARE working, they do studio work and help pay for their own dog food:-)) These person amazes me. It never ceases to amaze me that there are people like this in the world. The thing isn't that she's just clueless. It's that she's defiantly clueless and she has absolutely NO idea that she IS clueless. You really are right, you just can't fix stupid. For having stated that she was going to bump this thread up to keep everyone in the know that the person she got her dog from supposedly screwed her (which with the crazy statements this person is making all over the internet who the heck really knows what happened) she's not surprisingly disappeared when being called onto the carpet. I suppose the excuse will be she's too busy "training" her dogs to spend time like this, but evidence would suggest otherwise since she's on these boards all over the place if you google her. I think I'll help remind her of the question: did you or did you not breed to an 11 month old stud? What qualifies this dogs hips as being ok enough to breed? (again, just taking an xray doesn't count so don't even go there trying to make that the answer to this question cause you'll look VERY stupid). zdog, couldn't get the link to work, but finally, someone warned me not to drink near the laptop when going down this thread:-) Thanks for the heads up:-)
