There are a lot of quotes flying around here, derived from published text.

The problem with all this reliance on quotes of written text of whatever era or date, newspapers in particular, is that they are sometime unintentionally inaccurate, and sometimes delibertly inaccurate, and often both at the same time.  You cannot trust the content of any newspaper article or any book, you must read it with the knowledge that it may not be true in part or whole.

My brother went to a protest once, and he stood on the side lines, counting and calculating the numbers of people present with him protesting.  He said there were about 500 people present.  He was present for the entire thing.

The newspaper reported that 5,000 people showed up for the protest.  So much for acuracy of reporting.

This is very common with newspapers, except that it is often much worse-- and intentional.

Diary entries, Speeches, & Public announcements...from Statesmen & Leaders,  have more weight than any editorialized piece written in a censored & controlled Media mouthpiece like a newspaper.

It was no accident that Judea declared war ON Germany in 1933. A Very well known,  established fact.

I have many more quotes.  If youd like, Id be happy to publish them..

This is so true Veronica,  even worst now than ever before.  All media.  Makes you wonder who's in control.

I think most people know this, but a lot dont.   We're so screwed......

Never hurts to question anything.  Make up your own mind , test ones common sense.

good point Veronica.

Ugly, what about the quotes by Shawcross at the Nuremberg trial? From the official transcript?

allaboutdawgs...Nuremburg a dog and pony show.. Nothing more. False confessions, torture, deprivation.  The ICRC  International Red Cross, attributes 95% of deaths due to "Allied Aerial bombardment" of Supply Lines.

America is now being sued in a class action lawsuit by Hungarian Jews that were in Auschwitz.   Im not sure we have any culpability. I thought it was 60+ years ago.  And  I thought we rescued them but the suit is for $40 Billion, filed last week.

Politicians like Shawcross sometimes reflect later in life & discover their mistakes, shortcomings, their own sense of justice & right & wrong.  I think at 84, Shawcross had nothing to lose but to die suppressing the truth.

Like President Carter with his latest book.."Peace Not Apartheid" he was committed to the truth & to justice.

Veronica & 2moons.

One cannot "Un SAY" something that is said. That is why quotes are so powerful.

There is no journalist writing his interpretation. They are public statements, all verifiable.

I listed many from prominant people so as to support the official position of many of the enemies of Germany.  It wasnt as one sided as Youd like others to believe.

And his affair with the wife of a serial killer that was on trial under his own auspices?  Quite a set of standards there.

We freed who? I thought your position was that we didn't free Jews in Auschwitz and that we certainly didn't accomplish anything in WWII? Surely if they should have some shame in suing us for rescuing them, that would qualify as a deed that deserves some gratitude?

From what I understand his crossover to a different political spectrum had to do with something much more concrete than ideals.

I never said anything of his standards in choosing intimate partners...Just that as he aged he spoke for Justice.

Cetainly we freed those put in work camps. That was Auschwitz was. A giant munitions factory, well equipped with factories & many amentities for building war armaments.

I stated succinctly that the fruits of WW2 were...

1. Creating a UN-the League of Nations was not enough to acomplish their goals.

2. Creating a Israel.

One group (Brits) gave land belonging to another group (Palestinians) to a 3rd group from Europe (Zionist  Ashkenazi Jews)

Hungarian Jews called to register for class action

by Anna Byström – Budapest Sun Online February 13, 2008

Peter Wolz, who describes himself as an attorney for Jewish survivors of Auschwitz and their heirs, is appealing for Hungarian victims of the death camps and their heirs to contacts him over a possible class action.

Düsseldorf-based Wolz says he has already filed a class action for $40 Billion Against the US government at the Federal District court of Colombia, in Washington DC.

The class action concerns the failure of the Allies to bomb the railway bridges between Hungary and Auschwitz during the Second World War. Wolz believes the bombing of the railway bridges could have saved more than 400,000 Hungarian Jews life during 1944. He put the number of Budapest Jews who escaped the Holocaust – people like financier George Soros and the late Congressman Tom Lantos – at about 120,000 only.

“The responsible Federal judge drew a summons, which was delivered to President George W Bush,” Wolz told The Budapest Sun via email.

“In his reply the President declared, ‘The US accepts the well-pled allegations of the complaint as true,’” the attorney claimed.

Wolz’s call for Hungarian survivors and heirs to register with his IPAS (international project group Auschwitz Sammelklagen (class action)), organization, for either further punitive class actions at US Federal Courts, or for settlement out of court, follows Bush’s visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Israel this January.

Evil exists

Speaking at the site, the President was quoted by the AP as saying, “I wish as many people as possible would come to this place. It is a sobering reminder that evil exists, and a call that when evil exists, we must resist it.”

Wolz, who says the President also said “We should have bombed Auschwitz,” at the memorial, insists that the US Air Force, which controlled the European skies in 1944, could easily have bombed the railways and the bridges bringing Hungarian Jews to Auschwitz. But the camp and its supply lines were taken off the final list of target proposals and never were bombed.

“Auschwitz survivors and heirs of victims are called to register by post with I.P.

Why in the Bloody hell would I as an American,  be forced to pay & be taxed for something that I had nothing to do with, and as our infrastructure crumbles, our dollar weakens, our economy in the Sh*tter?..

You can bet the suit will be successful.  Germany is Still paying. 2nd generation now-Billions.  Some Survivor Heirs still claim "mental anguish & suffering"  over what their Parents experienced.

Course that Disaster called Iraq has nothing to do with this state of affairs we now find ourselves in financially.
