Louise, you are exactly the type of breeder Capt. Von Stephanitz would be proud of.  I like very few GSDs these days, but you have bred some very worthy dogs, especially that rock solid, super sound Ursus son you have (who appears to be a good producer of real quality).  That young sable puppy out of him has as nice a shoulder as I've seen in a long time and a very short iron back with near perfect proportions and solid bone.  I know that you have done a great job breeding and hand raising your puppies.  Your GSDs have the type of rock solid normal GSD temperament the Captain preferred and demanded.  You have bred and raised some stand up, rock solid GSDs that are naturally protective and courageous without being prey obsessed maniacs.  GSD enthusiasts who want to do quality breeding should strive to be like you.

There is no way any commercial breeding factory could ever duplicate what it has taken you so many years of careful selective breeding and training to produce.  And there are a substantial nyumber of other small breeders like you in North America, Germany and Europe and elsewhere that run small home-based quality breeding programs like you.

Hey, Preston, c'mon--you're about to make me gag: That young sable puppy out of him has as nice a shoulder as I've seen in a long time and a very short iron back with near perfect proportions and solid bone.

Sorry, my Ursus son (Geronimo Olympus) can't take all the credit for this. The sable pup was his grandson and sired by his half-brother, Zeek Olympus http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/124258.html. It's through Jello and Karly that we get those fantastic shoulders.

OK, guys, you can see the, then, 4-week-old pup Preston's talking about:

Not my breeding--but, yes, likely sold to a very loving pet home for a fair price.

And, anything my boys have produced, I owe to the conscientious folks who have bred their bitches to them and especially to their grand sire, Alex vom Nord Rasen http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/124219.html. You see, I don't breed litters anymore and have no intact bitches.

You are a weirdo also.  I am as America loving, America backing, as anyone you have ever heard of.  I have posted so many things on this site, stating just that.  Read my previous postings and how I have argued about how America is treated, trashed and stabbed in the back by most other countries of this world, yet we do for them all.  We give almost every country on this planet money for nothing.  Our money, that you and I pay in taxes.  When other countries have disasters, diseases, bully countries trying to take them over,  etc, etc, America "does" for them, and most times there is no Thank You America ever spoken by them.  America is the best hope for human kind.  I am a die hard conservative Republican, against pork, earmarks, government handouts, welfare, etc, etc.  I detest the liberals that want to take from those that have and spread it around to those that don't have, and I am by no means wealthy.  I just believe fair is fair.  Why should someone that makes more money than I, have to share their money with me?  Why should someone who makes a milllion dollars a year pay a larger percentage of thier income, that I at 70 grand a year.  That is called socialism and is borderline communism.  As much as I would like to get a piece of a millionaires money, it just ain't right.  One of the great things about America is its freedom.  That includes the freedom to fail.  But we don't let people fail.  We bail them out.  Just like now.  People tool out stupidly structured loans and are crying that they are losing their homes.   You fail, you fail.  You succeed, you succeed.  That is called freedom

Ron Paul can not win.  Waste your vote if you want.  Ron Paul talks about world events with the understanding of a blond housewife or a 13 year old.  He doesn't have a clue about how the world works.  Apparently neither do you.  I bet he even has seen some Thunderbirds in his back yard .    When Ron Paul was in the debates, he looked and sounded like a fool.  I don't know what circle of friends you were with watching the debates, but those around me, and those in the audience at the debates were laughing their butts off when you spoke.  The proof is in the pudding.  How many delegates has he won?  Why is that?  Oh yea, I know.  Only you and about a hundred other people know what's best and everyone else is an unpatriotic idiot.  I watched every minute of every televized debate, of both parties.  I am a political junkie.  I know my countries history.  I know my countries strengths, weaknesses, good points and bad points.  Would things be run different if I were President.  You bet.  But I have about as much of a chance of being President as Ron Paul.

Give me a freakin break.

Louise, don't let a well deserved compliment embarass you.  You do own the sire of that very nice sable puppy, don't you?Has he produced other puppies as well built as this sable one?

Do Right .... your full of BS.  And that's all I have to say about that. Your last post is DELUSIONAL, go reread it. The US Constitutional Republic is incorrigibility at it's finest. Maybe you should study it and know who you are, instead of all this CFR BS you spew.  The corrupt depend on people like you.

You guys should vote for Capt.Mike and me.....LOL.

We're on the pirate ticket.

Or publicly refuse to elect these offerings the parties give us.   I think we need a real leader, and its not a politition.

I think we need some real changes, starting with the election process its self.

I think it would take real civil unrest and millions in the streets to bring about any real changes.

I would fire the whole lot!   not all at once tho...:)

Like Uglydogs post I ask you all, does anyone have a plan?   Or are we just gonna bitch and argue ?

I'm way off topic,  by the way I caught a glimps of something about massive animal laws on the news last night. Anyone see that?

by Do right and fear no one on 17 March 2008 - 17:03

Okay.  I thought about it for two seconds and I now have a plan.  A very good plan to fix all of this countries problems.

First:  We do as Two Moons suggested and make Capt Mike President.  Can you imagine the laughter, lightheartedness and sheer fun of his press conferences.  Just picture him speaking to the U.N.

Second:  We make D.H. Vice President.  We have to have someone who actually can run things, when Capt Mike is "under the weather".

Third:  We make BabyEagle4U, 4Pack, allaboutthedawgs and a dozen more wenches, Cabinet members (Capt Mike is gonna need "comfort" during trying times.

Fourth:  We make UglyDog the Presidents Press Secretary.  Just for the sheer joy of watching his press conferences with the media.

Fifth:  We make kalibeck and mindhunt co-Treasury Secretaries, to get this country out of debt.

Sixth:  We make SpeakNow the Energy Secretary, to deal with Opec.

Seventh:  We make MikeRussell Attorneys General (because he knows a good pedigree or the lack thereof).

Eighth:  We make doggman Transportation Secretary, to get rid of these gas guzzling SUV's and such.

and finally:

We make BabyEagle4U the Official Pilot of Air Force One.

Plenty of other positions available, so submitt your resumes and nominations.

Story of my life.

by Do right and fear no one on 17 March 2008 - 18:03

Well, to tell you the truth Two Moons, I considered you for one of the cabinet posts, but the last time (another thread) I mentioned you, you got irritated and asked not be be brought into it.  So I refrained.

I did give you credit for the nomination of Cap'n Mike though.  Didn't want to steal your idea.

I would be honored to have you as our Education Secretary.  Someone has to teach UglyDog.

I just left ugly,   I dont think anythings gonna help ugly.     I appreciate your concern for my well being from past thread..

I wasn't irritated only wanted to be clear that I am who I am......:)

I think we need a new cabinet post, one who represents the people.   Ministry of commons.

You would have to stand in line..  earn a living and raise your kids,  its gonna be a long line.

Or maybe a daily drawing.   I expect a nice salary.

And the power to VETO !!

just a thought.
