Funny, I hadn't thought of it that way.  You are absolutely right.  I'm finished posting on this thread; it really is counter productive.   I did notice some interesting threads on training, think I'll check them out.  First, I'm going out and doing some obedience with my dog, then going to work.

It's sad and scary all at once.   He need's a really good lawyer and maybe some help from the aclu, withholding med's is a civil right's violation. I avoid the system at all cost's, I even fasten my seat belt's anymore. 

I had a taste of Texas back in the 70's it's a nice place to visit, back then it was deadly.   I saw one friend beaten, and knew of another who just disappeared.   I left soon after.   The law had a thing for long hair's in those day's.

I hope your friend get's some help soon.

Back to the dogs getting shot. Doesn't surprise me. Where I live the police recently shot THEIR OWN DOG! Now that's IRONIC! They also shot a pet dog because it was in someone's front yard RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN!

You wonder why I call them gorillas in uniform.

They come around and harrass our trainer/handlers, looking for a reason to ticket us or take our dogs. (One of the polkice captains ended up with a puppy because he got some local-yokel to lie and say it was being abused.

And as for Stalin, he was an ignorant potato-picker who was afraid of anybody with an education. But is Dubya any smarter? I'd watch out for what they do in Russia now and the Putin-Medvedev dynamic. In Russia no one is so rich that they are untouchable. Putin has personal wealth in the billions, not counting shares in oil and gas. It should be interesting if Russia and Belarus decide to merge and call for a new election...

Right now I'm waiting to see what happens next in this country... When Obama talked about us bitter people holding onto the Bible and our guns, he left out our dogs. If legal gun ownership is done away with, what will come next?

Four weeks with no prescribed meds. , and been told three weeks in a row by his family..he has to have your meds.and you are outside the law..She made some phone calls yesterday dont know what happened..Im staying out of it...He use to post on here as Luvmidog....

I sold him his gsd four years ago and he is a paralegal...so he knows the law inside out..but when you have no money,,you are up a creek with no paddle. His job ran out in Dec and he has not found another parallegal job as of this date of the incident . He is employed but not in his profession.
