Keepthefaith - Downes Syndrome in babies with mothers over (I think) 40 becomes very common.  It's possible that she had the Amnio just so she could find out and be prepared (ie learn more about Downes).

Well Moons, I can tell you this .. at the Rally last night, they announced that the delegates were to be transported to the convention, for a floor vote. Out of 12 convention buses they sent 4 meaning only 500 Ron Paul delegates had transportation ontime to the convention. So, the RonVoy's had to transport the rest of the delegates.. it was last minute but we all got there in due time. Kudo's to the Granny Warriors who expected this to happen. They had the RonVoys ready to load out back.   BUT .. when the delegates arrived at the convention, we were all identified as the Ron Paul Delegates, to be shut out of the vote .. the floor vote never took place last night, I presume because there were more of us than McCain's delegates. It's supposed to take place tonight now. We all went shoppin' at the "formal dress" across the river ... LOL I bought makeup and high heels for the first time since Prom year.  LOL  The only way we can address this is by now looking like mainstream McCain supporters and chant to the status quo. Gotta do what we gotta do for that roll call, right ?

PS. when we got to the convention we were handed a newsletter, they said everyone at the convention recieved on their chairs that read "GOP Braces For Possible Mini-Rebellion By Ron Paul Backers" LMAO  I turned bright red as I read the title.   Danny from NM tramped on my foot and told me I'm shining. We were followed by the McCain "brown coats" the whole time @ the convention. It wasn't like this on day 1. LMAO Too funny.

As long as noone @ the convention violates the "breaches of decorum" established in the GOP ... we should all have a chance to turn over the 'presumed nominee' legally. Yeahhhh !!!!!! Even if we have to pretend it's Hollywood and dress according to the mainstream McCain Republicans.

Roll Call tonight ... hope ya'll watch it. If at all, tonight will be the night Ron Paul joins the Republican Platform @ the GOP Convention. My fingers are crossed.

Gotta catch that bus soon ... see ya !!!  I hate high heels and nylons. Uggg.

Why I watch the conventions is beyond me.  They are no different than this messageboard.  Both sides talk about how bad their opponent is, but never truly talk about their own beliefs and philosophies.

Last night made me sick.  Are the American voters that naive?  Are we all sheep with wool over our eyes?  Am I an acception to this rule?  How is it that I can see through the garbage and BS?

I'm sick of all the Republican scare tactics, trying to make us feel unsafe unless we vote for an 80 yr old war veteran.  Everytime a republican is in office our defense spending goes up and our economy goes to crap.  I can still remember Dick's words in the VP debate 8 years ago.  That MF continually talked about how we needed to spend money on defense.  Last night was no different.  The convention started and ended with scare tactics.   What the F  are we supposed to be scared of?  I attack in the last 60+ years?  And some believe that was an inside job.  I'd say that's not too bad.

If you go outside of the US or watch foreign news, the view is a bit different.  Our "war on terrorism"  is terrorism.

I miss the good old days of Slick Willy.  Airbomb the F out of em', send em' a warning, call up an intern and grab a cigar.

Right after 911 this administration did everything in it's power to point a finger at Iraq.  They needed a reason to invade Iraq.    Jr. needed to finish the job his father could not.    Honestly, why haven't we taken the same approach to the likes of Korea?

John McBush graduated last in his class at the US Naval Academy of 900 students. Son of an Admiral, who covered up the USS LIBERTY attack by Israel on the USA, where US Sailors were visciously assaulted in the longest attack since Pearl Harbor, 200 were killed/wounded. McCain helped to cover up that event in 1967.

John McAmnesty crashed 5 Jets. He was called an 'ace' for that.  He was responsible for dropping WMDs on VIetnamese Villages, was shot down & Made a POW.  His fellow POWs insist that he was a 'songbird' with little honor.

McLunatic returned and fell in love with his now wife Cindy, abandoning his present wife, who was disfigured in an accident but who had patiently & loyally waited for him while he was a POW.

McSame has been a career politician. He married into money. Cindys family is well known in Organized Crime circles, and amassed a fortune in the liquor business in AZ, NM, CO & Southwest.   This is just part of the story.

Dont even get me started about Obama.

BabyEagle,

That's gotta be worth a ticket.

I did notice how much security they had on the floor.   Sceeeeeary stuff!    Intimidating the crown no doubt.  They are afraid of their own party??   Or maybe they are scared of something strange in the crowd.. something different from themselve's.

I hope you guy's get your shot BabyEagle...Good luck.

Oh and be careful in those heel's don't break a leg going down the stair's.
