Edit : Show me where I disrespected your husband on this thread. YOUR a liar. The only idiot who disrespected your husband on this thread is John McCain. He voted against Vets and actives multiple times, his voting history proves this, his speech was a fairy tale script. Go Google. I disrespected YOU, and YOU well deserved it with your BS. Your post above is delusional.

 DH

hey I never said I was for or against John Mccain.

Let's see liar and delusional, to each his own.  I've got Halloween care packages to send off to the 101st airborne, so I really need to quit wasting my energy on this bull shit.  Take care and good luck to you.

I have to admit I don't read all of these post's in detail because I don't pay a lot of attention to what politition's say or what the media repeat's.   I'm more interested in the personal thing's going thru people's mind's.   If you want to know what the reality of war is you have to talk to Vet's, not listen to the new's media or the candidate's.  We're just pawn's to them.

My brother work's for the V.A. I hear the reality's from him.     Vet's are not cared for as they should be, and it's better now than during the vietnam year's but still falls short of what they deserve for giving so much.    I'm of that Vietnam era and lost many friend's, the nam vet's were shit on by our elected official's and the news media.  Our country let them down in the worst possible way's.  Mind's were poisoned by the media and politition's who had their own agenda and my friend's were made the scape goat's for that war.   What did it accomplish?

The same thing is still going on in the world today, we're not fighting anyone for freedom, especially not our own.   We're just pawn's on a chess board.

It'sa monday, and the moon's coming on, and I can't really put into word's what my mind and heart tell's me, so I'll say no more here.

Please be kind to one another.

Brent.

Mickey D - re trashing the messenger: sometimes the messenger is a nutcase.

Malkin is an intellectually stunted right-winger - the left has its share of the same. Anyone who justifies the internment of Japanese Americans during the second world war is off her rocker. It was one of those ignoble acts that was performed while we had a Democratic president! The fact that she is Asian American herself makes the whole thing even more bizarre.

"Everything the Japanese were planning to do was Known to the USA"
-ARMY BOARD 1944

"We knew well in advance that the Japanese were going to attack. It was a lie that we didn't have direct radio with DC"
-Lt Col Clifford M. Andrew

"I have believed that our best entrance into the war would be by way of Japan"
-Oct 18, Interior Secretary Harold Ickes

BabyEagle4U, you are a true stand up American.  Thanks for serving our country under uniform and now afterwards as a civilian. You tell the truth and love the Constitution, Bill of Rights and our great nation.  Many thanks for all your service to us all.

Mickey D, if there was voter fraud - irrespective of which party or group does it - they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Are you suggesting that Obama is involved with the Acorn project or was a participant in voter fraud? If so, I'd love to see the evidence for it.

I am not overly enthused about Obama and I would have voted for the McCain of 2000 or even the McCain of 2004, in a heart beat. But what we are seeing today is a McCain who is nothing like the maverick of that period. He has caved into the Republican base on most issues, has selected a running mate who is so extreme in her views that it would not appeal to a moderate like myself and has become a neo-con in terms of his foreign policy.

But I have one hope - if he is elected, I believe that he will revert to his real beliefs and convictions which bears no resemblance to what he is portraying himself today. But his neo-con views when it comes to foreign entanglements is a genuinely held view - and that is what alarms me more than anything else.

Re Obama being a communist, I have no idea what you are basing this on - throwing out labels is pointless. I would say the same if someone accused Palin of being a fascist.
