Silbersee

by Silbersee on 03 October 2008 - 19:10

Aristian,

I would seriously urge you to stay out of these topics. Now you are telling us that your showline female is suffering from all kinds of allergies and health issues, but you mentioned here on this board that you are going to breed her. What does that make you? I wonder! Certainly not somebody with a lot of integrity, don't you think? You are digging your own grave so to speak as a breeder! I will remind you about her health issues when you breed her! You really need to think before you post! It helps!

I will not be breeding her Silbersee. Havent you read my other posts. Well its because of you showline peeps, that this problem exists in the first place. People like you have been breeding showlines for quite some time right? so people like you are responsible for ruining this breed. By inbreeding and Line breeding dogs to them great VA's. Misbeeb you seem to comment on whatever i say....r u always so obsessive?

ARTISIAN, I think everyone who loves a good laugh has read your posts, Ihave never known anyone who contradicts themselves as you do. Silbersee is correct you did say, after she gets her breed survey you would breed her to a dog with a better front, was it not. You were going to rid your country of "cow hocks".Now we find she had a fake hip grade, she is riddled with health issues, you now accept she is a pet,you won't breed her,and now you are going to burden the work line people with your trash, please please make up your mind. By the way this thread is not about you and your dogs,so go start another one,we all know that's one thing your good at. liz

Funky Monkey stay away from my posts. It seems like you want negative attention. You are sooooo rude! Didnt your parents teach you any manners? Look at the way you talk to me you rude piece of shit! Was i ever rude you? I shit on people like you Funkymonkey! Its seems like you have a goddamn problem with everything I say! Why are you and Misbeeb so darn obsessive? Why isnt anyone but you argueing with me? A few crap heads like you and misbeeb seems to comment on whatever i write in whatever thread i chose to write in. I think your fed up with life and you just want negative attention. If talking trash then why dont other members on this board write against me? Its only you and Misbeeb! Almost ALL THE MEMBERS ON THIS BOARD KNOW THAT I WAS NEVER RUDE TO ANYONE! BUT YOU AND MISBEEB CONTINUE BEING RUDE TO ME AND I PROMISE YOU THAT FROM NOW ONWARDS I WILL BE EQUALLY NASTY TO YOU! You are talking nonsense! SHE DOES NOT HAVE A FAKE HIP GRADE! i APOLOGIZED and ADMITTED IT WAS A MISTAKE AND MADE A NEW PROFILE FOR HER! ARE YOU FU****** BLIND! Why are you so defensive about Zamp? I can say whatever i want about him....His he your son? Do you share a blood relationship with him? People like you just need an excuse to lash out on pakistanis like me. So far i BACKED ALL MY 'NONSENSE' WITH PICTURES AND A VIDEO ON ZAMP! So im not talking nonsense, i have donE my homework and i have evidence on him being cow hcoked!

Interesting how this thread got off topic. My guess is that nobody can answer anything specific. It is all guessing, just like genetics is. Conclusion: It takes knowledgable and reputable breeders to take on the responsibility of our next generations. - silbersee

exactly the breeder is the 'gatekeeper' so to speak.  this is why not sharing pertinent info makes getting a handle on the genetic all the more challenging.  i mean no insult to anyone involved in the breeding or the death of alfons. i just honestly feel that this info is very important to breeders and gsd owners alike and is why i entered into this discussion.  just as an fyi: regarding the heart issue and weak hearts being more susceptible to infection.  you are right i am not a medical expert but this information is not restricted to professionals but is available to the layperson as well.  the reason i know this is because i happen to know people with very serious heart conditions specifically: mitral valve prolapse, tricuspid atresia, and aortic stenosis. i have been to many doctor & hospital visits, read more articles then i wished specifically in prep for operations, and have discussed the bacterial and viral vulnerability of these condition and the precautions necessary to take to prevent infection. please don't get me wrong i'm certainly not saying alfons had any of these conditions i was just asking what the autopsy revealed. also i never thought of steroids and heart problems but that too is a concern.  this may be seen as 'rumors' but for me they are simply questions waiting to be answered. because of these issues and many others we must rely on knowledgeable and reputable breeders, and this is exactly why it's so important that they be honest and forthcoming with info.

brady bee's post is so very true and it was nice to read. i understand that breeders necessarily buy and sell dogs so have many many dogs in their life time.  on the flip side there are those of us who buy dogs as companions so have very few and keep them for life. so we both love dogs but have very different relationships with them.  owners bond with their dogs as we would any family member (and as my mother says "sometimes even more because they don't talk back" - lol) i realize from a business perspective there are those who are waiting to pounce on anything to tear down a breeder and mar his/her rep - the bigger the name to more vicious the attacks.  but there are others who ask simply because they care and have no mal-intent.  i can't and won't tell anyone how to run their business but i can tell my pov and what i wish, and for me i like to know as much as i can so i ask.  i'm sorry if my post were offensive or perceived as intrusive or prying but my intent was to share my opinion on the importance of this matter - disclosure of cause of death - and to say that alfons' death, and the death of all gsd but particularly top breeders, is valuable info and could (but may not) shed some light on weaknesses so they can be addresses and the breed can improve. again i apologize for any offense.

ARI, please calm down it's not good for your health. Now very calmly have another look at every reply to you and every post you have made. You and only you started all the rudeness,do you think that missbeeb and myself are the only ones to give you negative feedback? NO,my little man everyone has said much the same thing. Maybe in your country being a zillionaire, like yourself, gives you the right to be nasty foul mouthed moron.Well sorry not where i come from. And you DID have a fake hip grade put on your bitch, either she has been scored or she has not, that was no mistake. You can rant all day everyday about Zamp, but so then can we defend such a perfect specimen if we choose to. And by the way you are the only one who keeps mentioning Pakistan, personally i couldn't give a flying fig if you come from the moon. I think you have a giant chip on your shoulder about something, maybe your envious of other breeders in your country who have better connections in the dog world than yourself, that is such a shame. See,money can't buy you eveything, like manners or maybe a personality transplant,or better still a brain,no i know a one way ticket to the moon!!!!!!! enjoy the rest of your day little unimportant man.  liz

I checked all my posts throughly and I can swear that you and misbeeb started the rudeness. I am never rude unless someone else is rude to me. Justcurious i am sorry on funkymonkey's behalf she decided to but in and ridicule me. I was argueing that working lines are better and she decided to but in and abbuse me. Liz if you want to fight and abbuse me, personal message ME!

Justcurious i beg to differ. Heart problems are genetic. They are genetic in humans. My family has a history of heart diseases. So far all of my deceased family members have died due to heart diseases. My uncle is a heart surgeon in London, he also says that heart disease is genetic. So far i havent heard of any viruses that cause heart failure except for Parvo. Correct me if im wrong.

justcurious

sorry i wasn't clear but i wasn't saying heart problems were not genetic. the discussion was based on the statement that alfons died of heart infection which was not genetic condition. my position is that heart infections may not be genetic but heart infects are very rare and are far more common in hearts that are weak due to genetic problems.  so the statement that alfons died of heart infection for me is actually a 'red flag' and only brought up more questions instead of bringing closure. some possible issues that could contribute to heart infection are underlying genetic problem, steroid use, over vax ... we don't know. an autopsy might shed some light but so far there is no info just lots of questions
