Two Moons

by Two Moons on 11 October 2008 - 16:10

Sometime's some of you scare me.

No finger pointing, no explaination, just how I feel.

The desperation is palpable.  Yes, of course Fox Noise will tell you Obama and Ayers have some secret relationship, why not?  They don't bother letting little things like the truth get in the way of a good story.  Fox Noise tossed unbiased and fact based news reporting out the window a long time ago and consequently is taken about as seriously as The National Enquirer - even by many conservatives.  Here is what Newsweek has to say:

 http://www.blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/10/10/assessing-ayers-innuendo-vs-information.aspx

"Ultimately, McCain is resorting to innuendo because when it comes to Ayers, he has more to gain from preying on ignorance than providing information. Despite McCain's insinuations about his rival's untruthfulness, the Obama-Ayers backstory isn't all that mysterious. Like other Ayers acquaintances, Obama initially knew the former radical only as a fixture of Chicago's mainstream school-reform community. They were introduced at a coffee Ayers hosted before Obama's first run for office. They served on a schools project and a charitable board together. And they occasionally bumped into each other the streets of Obama's Hyde Park neighborhood. Obama has been pretty clear about all of this--even if it's a subject he's tried to avoid--and objective observers say that "the two men do not appear to have been close." As William C. Ibershof, the chief prosecutor of the Weather Underground in the 1970s, put it in a letter this morning to the New York Times, "because Senator Obama recently served on a board of a charitable organization with Mr. Ayers cannot possibly link the senator to acts perpetrated by Mr. Ayers so many years ago."

Many conservative commentators agree. "Does anybody really seriously believe that Barack Obama is a secret left-wing radical?" former Bush speechwriter David Frum recently wrote. "And if not, then what is this fuss and fury supposed to show? It's like Ronald Reagan's opponents trying to beat him by pointing out that Birchers once supported him." Still, some right-wingers have seized on the most substantial link between the pair--their six years (1995-2001) serving together on the board of an educational foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge--as evidence that Obama and Ayers once worked in tandem to advance a radical leftist agenda. "Those who argue that the Ayers connection is important because Ayers is an unrepentant terrorist are emphasizing the wrong part of the Ayers/Obama oeuvre," conservative blogger Neo-Neocon recently wrote. "It’s way too much of a stretch to say... that Obama was simpatico with Ayers’ terrorist past or with the extremity of his radical beliefs. Annenberg, however, was a whole nother ball game."

Unfortunately, the facts don't support that charge."

From the Newsweek link that was provided above pretty much nails the McCain-Pailin approach:

Here's how the strategy works. First, say the word "terrorist." Then characterize the Obama-Ayers relationship as murky, assuming that listeners don't know--or don't care to find out--that Obama has already characterized Ayers' past as "detestable" and discussed how the two crossed paths in Chicago. Next, insinuate that Obama's alleged evasions--and the mere fact that he encountered Ayers at all--call his character into question. And--last but not least--hope voters conclude that Obama is some sort of radical left-wing terrorist-sympathizer unworthy of the Oval Office.

The terrible danger is that this approach inflames some right-wing nut who then decides to take things into his own hands to "save the US from the radical left-wing terrorist-sympathizer".

The atmosphere today reminds me of the sixties with the extreme polarization that exists - and the violence/assasinations that resulted left its scars on the nation. McCain has let the genie out of the bottle and the thing to do is not to exacerbate things more.

two moons i know you didn't name names but i hope i'm not one who scares you;)

i think whenever one tries to see life beyond the personal  it gets challenging because we feel like we are not really part of it, yet feel we need to have our individual voice heard least we get trampled on - i guess it's a feeling of being 'out of control' and we each react to this feeling differently.  at least that's how i feel from time to time <g>

these types of conversation focus on what is scary i.e. our greatest fears; but i think no matter what time period you live in you can always find a perspective that is scary:) regardless of one's pov i think each person makes a difference by how we live our own lives, how we treat each other and those in our care e.g. our dogs:)  it's ok to be sad, be in a state of disbelieve, and look around and have moments where you see no hope but just make sure you don't get stuck there;) - too often this is far easier said than done.

here's a link that might be fun the title is anyway:)  The New Man: Beyond the Macho Jerk and the New Age Wimp  http://personallifemedia.com/podcasts/238-the-new-man  to me this is exactly how the dems see the repubs i.e. macho jerks and how the repub view the dems e.g. new age wimps - so i thought it fitting :) - maybe we can step through and find this 'New Man' instead of having this endless match between jerk & wimp - lol- wouldn't that make all this worth the bother <G>.  have a great week end

Mick D, what Bezmenov suggests is true to a point.  He just doesn't understand "the big picture" of who the elite power families are and how they run everything. These are the methods attempted by the soviets to take down a nation from the cultural base through "culture war" and "mindwar".  Remember, the soviet union was started and funded by the banksters in the first place at the turn of the century in the early 1900's and was used as a geopolitical experiment.  Germany was built up the same way and used a second time as a balance point against the soviets and as a jumping off point for the "united nations forces" of the UK/USA/Russia.  During the 1950's the top foundations, think tanks and rockefeller derivatives of the "club of rome" and "royal institute" such as cfr, trilateral  commission, etc. made secret moves to utilize the soviet and nazi proven methods to create a 1984 orwellian totalitarian system in the USA.  Uglydog probably knows the most about this and how it was done.  It was decided at the top int'l corporate and bankster levels that the USA must be made more like the soviet union and vice-versa, with a new derivative orwellian system created which could take over the whole world financially and run by the banksters, who are the cut out for the old black nobility (guelph) ruling families of the world (about 300 families, with 13 main bloodlines).  Remember communism came from London and was financed by western "banksters".

"bama is a product of the chicago machine and therefore has been surrounded by a lot of unsavory creatures such as who have already been mentioned.  But this doesn't necessarily make him like them.  Just like Jack Kennedy was around many undesirables before he was elected, didn't make him a bad president (he went his own direction and was a force for good, that is why he was murdered by the jcs).  "bama like "cain if elected will have to answer to their "advisors" who already have "stuff in the can" awaiting exposure if the needs arises, that is if either gets elected and goes "off the reservation" like JFK did.

Here is what is simply amazing to me.  This last week we have had the greatest change in our fed. gov't in history.  Our congress has unconstitutionally voted dictatorial authority to a private central bank and the world bank who employs the sec of the treas (paulson).  Ownership of all our banks and top corps has in essence been "deeded" to the IMF and world bank in the biggest finacial coup in history with no congressional investigation of what went wrong, no public hearings or discussions, no public input.  The Republic of the USA is now nonexistant and we have been completely gven by our congress to the banksters.  No way could 'bama or "cain ever overcome this.

cont.  The soviet union was essentially taken down by financial manipulations.  Their system was induced to go bust by sophisticated institutional means I'll not go into here.  But suffice it to say  that these same methods (a bit more refined) have been used for the planned destruction of our Republic, in order to usher in a whole new political and economic system run exclusively, and here is the kicker, OUT IN THE OPEN, by the banksters. A private, central, incorporated in delaware, newly created central bank, in 1913, has now been given control of our whole economy and all major businesses.  This is about as fascist/socialist (as in nazi commie combination, fusion) as it could ever get.   There has been a 50 year effort using culture war and mindwar to destroy our family system and its basic moral values, splinter family members one from another by scattering them to the wind, dumb down the children and the masses by mercury laced injections and fluoride in the water (just like the nazi death camps and russian gulags) and mind kontrol them through tv and the bad culture it promotes (hollywood immorality presented as normal and desirable).   Nafta, gatt, wto have been used to strip our country of heavy industry and ship it out of America.  Easy credit and mind kontrol based usuary has been used to bring millions into financial/credit card bondage in order to beak their will, take away their self respect and make them bankster slaves/serfs.  False flag inside job gladio style terror ops have been used by our shadow gov't to scare folks into a complete yielding of consent, to allow the gov't to do whatever it wants while promising safety and providing none.

Think you know who really runs things?  You don't.  Here is a summary prepared by Richard Boyland, Ph.D. who is probably the foremost expert on the shadow gov't amoung civilians.  He has put together the best description of the shadow gov't of the USA.

Rep and dem are only served up to make folks think they have a real choice in who runs their country, to create an illusion of control.   The real differences between 'bama and 'cain would be small overall and certain perameters will be enforced by the shadow gov't on any candidate who wins any major election.   The big boys love to see their minions and serfs fighting over crumbs about truly meaningless issues, while being ignorant of the root causes of everything, like the 1913 banking givaway, etc.
