Two Moons

You can fool all of the people most of the time if you have the right tool's.

Luckily some people have learned to tune it out and turn it off.

Sadly those people don't even get involved in this bull shit and are never heard from, but they are there never the less.

If we don't change how we learn and are informed nothing will ever change.

It starts with the children, what they need most is the truth.  Children have a way of seeing past the BS until they too have been brain washed.   And who does this brainwashing??   We do.

Too many label's, too many standardized test's, not enough truth, not enough thinking outside the box.  Not enough individuality.   Assembly line mentality.   And every bit of information is tained by special interest's.

I think we've let it all go for too long and now there is little chance of making it right.

I'd like to stop the train and let everyone walk home today...  take the time to really see what the world looks like.

In my opinion, it is the extremist propaganda, prejudice, and regimented brainwashing (especially, of our youth) that is unconscionable.

I have a friend (now, in his mid-70's) who likes to boast jovially (at schutzhund club training here in California) of his experience in Hitler Youth. He says that it taught him discipline/self-reliance and made a man of him (while his dad was fighting as a high-ranking, decorated officer in the WWII German army--according to reports on the internet, anything but a common foot soldier--but a very abusive parent when he was at home with his family).

My friend claims that Hitler Youth was "no different than Boy Scouts--but without the knots"! Knots? Yeah, as in Nazi. I have videos of this guy as he trained/abused his own dogs at the schutzhund field--with all the refined skills that were inculcated in him as a member of Hitler Youth. Some things never change.....

I cannot, in good conscience, vote for either the "propagandized" Democratic or "Palinized" Republican slates. For me, it is a choice of not voting or writing in the name of Ron Paul.

Another looney left brainwashing move was forcing school children (some as many as 4 times) to watch Al Gores phoney Global Warming Movie (an Inconvient Truth). They even made some of the parents attend and watch the same movie.

Rightwing nuts are in a state of near panic. Could it be because even Karl Rove now has Obama winning the presidency if it were held today?

www.rove.com/election

Of course it could also be because even people like Charles Krauthammer - the well-known neo-con - says of Obama in a recent article:

"He's got both a first-class intellect and a first-class temperament. That will likely be enough to make him president."

www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/02/AR2008100203043.html

Now when someone totally partisan like Krauthammer, who does not have a single good word to say about Democrats, makes this comment about Obama, what it demonstrates, is that Republicans have nominated a candidate who is singularly unsuited to be president. Anyone who has seen McCain in action the past couple of weeks becomes aware that he is too erratic and temperamental to assume the highest office in the land - quite apart from his outlandish selection of Palin to be his running mate.

Some of you guys act like the president has the power to do whatever he wants.

Quite true, keepthefaith, but he is half black you know, he might bring all those Africans here and give them welfare, and some don't even think he's an American.

We just continue to shoot ourselves in the foot one election after another.  Few seem to even grasp the facts - McCain will be 72 if and when he takes office, 76 at the end of his first term and has already battled malignant melanoma 4 times. Odds of him developing it again are great. His last episode was serious enough to require the removal and section of his lymph nodes; the pathology was reported as negative thankfully. He is also subject to all the other infirmaties of the elderly - dementia being one of them. His next-in-line doesn't exactly inspire confidence in her ability by mugging and winking to the camera and by spinning around every debate question to end up as if were a study in the energy crisis and Alaska's oil trove. BTW, when she stated "we are drilling an oil line in Alaska" she neglected to say that project has not yet begun; it is still in the talking stages.

Drill, baby, drill!!!!

Vote for Ron Paul.

Otherwise, it doesn't matter who is in the White House--just another person feeding at the public trough who will suck up to do the bidding of corporate America's financial wizzards--and lacking in all credibility and respect within the international community.

Considering the lunatics within our society, Obama may have just as great a life expectancy in office as McCain. The only difference is the "heartbeat" away from Obama is a bit more palatable than that of McCain.

Louise, you give wise advice.  I am going to write Rep. Ron Paul in on my balloy forPresident.  My reason is that both parties are being manipulated by the int'l world merchant baksters (moneychangers) as controlled opposition to make us think we have good choices between republicans and democrats.    We don't. Here is a short video clip exdplaining how the concept "two way controlled opposition" works:

Tom Davis Gives Up

No more. The revolution is over, the thrill is gone and the Republican brand under President Bush has, in Davis’s view, been so tarnished that, as he likes to say, “if we were a dog food, they would take us off the shelf.” These will be Davis’s last few weeks in Congress. He decided against re-election, disaffected by the partisanship, by a process he calls broken, by a party he considers hijacked by social conservatives. “We’re just not getting much done,” he said.

i understand davis walking away because the choice in front of us is tyranny or socialism.

my rec? write in ron paul for a chance at democracy.

i like dogget for vp because he's stood up to scoundrels like gramm, rove et al;  but maybe someone else has another person they think would be good. it's time for a true change, it's time the government followed the will of the people and stopped standing on our backs while reaching into our pockets.  make a difference don't vote party lines instead write-in.

If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service, he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers, a known terrorist. - yr

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D93KD6Q00

Analysis: Palin's words carry racial tinge

Her reference to Obama's relationship with William Ayers, a member of the Vietnam-era Weather Underground, was exaggerated at best if not outright false. No evidence shows they were "pals" or even close when they worked on community boards years ago and Ayers hosted a political event for Obama early in his career.

Obama, who was a child when the Weathermen were planting bombs, has denounced Ayers' radical views and actions....

... Palin's incendiary charge draws media and voter attention away from the worsening economy. It also comes after McCain supported a pork-laden Wall Street bailout plan in spite of conservative anger and his own misgivings.

here's another example of brainwashing and how distraction it is.  the real issue is the very bad economy.  lets hear her talk about that.  lets demand that they explain how their votes for the bailout was not a betrayal of the people they work for.  lets talk about now today.
