I'm still praying for you and your puppy. Pups are delicate. Hope she has a full recovery!

I'm very glad your pup is doing better, Kalibeck.  A good friend of mine lost a dog years back to an intussusception years ago.  Thank goodness you got her to the vet in time.

Best of luck...  I lost a baby to intersuception some years back... Go slow when you start feeding solid food. Small amounts, and nothing that's not on the Vet's list for approved food.  (We used ID from Hills)

Goods Luck to the Pup and its fight, and full recovery It is a tough little mite and deserves to win through

I hate to mention it and please do not take it the wrong way, but please do not let your husband feed the Dog or take care of it,

He does not seem to understand the situation or really know  to much about Dogs, for i feel he is not helping the problem

Good Luck we will be thinking of you and the Pup

You have endured exactly what I did with my 4 mth old pup Shula 2 Xmas`s ago... everyone on here was also so supportive, and just one thing to say..... besides wonderful news..if course ... she also had a massive 13" intersusseption - and is now fit, well and boundin about... but like one reader said, she would be "blocked" - not so, my little one was passing massive liquid stools with blood.  I mention this only to give others the knowledge that intersusseption can still produce stools although not normal stools....   Anyways, isnt this such a lovely caring board at times.... beats the hell out of the other type of messages that get nasty..... we are all thinking of you, and of her.... love and hugs.  Mo - Mascani.
