Many of you saw something close to this on the topic of "this could be your dog when returned from training" under TRAINING and on a variety of posts. Only the dead dog in that case was not photographed but dumped at a vet in extremis. One of the emaciated dogs in that situation was posted here on this forum. Both people involved as perpetrators are or were members of USA by the way. No one seemed to give a damn and USA had not even the guts to speak out about the incident and likely will do nothing in this case even if this person is still a member.

If he has any contacts in Germany, they too need to see these photos immediately.

Things like this and people like this SOB are the reason I  NEVER have and NEVER will send my dogs anywhere to be trained.

Hodie, that is why I posted this on the German board. It is visited by more than just GSD people. So, let's hope that someone has any info.

Thanks for posting it Chris and to the original poster as well. Everyone must post this at every possible site. We must never allow this to be forgotten. I cannot imagine the horrible deaths those dogs look to have suffered.

I did read/see this hodie on here~another tragic case, made me sick as well.I hope to GOD people in Germany are reading this as i stated b-4 and looking at these pictures,as sick and sad as this is the WORD must get out to everyone! This news is out on all the many Dobe/training lists i am on as well.Is this 'scum',a member of USA too? Going to watch our local news to see if it will be shown on there.Ciao' 4 now!  K9Dobe~Gail

I found his name on a training practice time roster assignment sheet for a USA national event.......I did not see a date on that roster, and membership is kept secret (maybe for good reason when we have people like these among us), so I cannot say whether he is or is not a member. But he should be banned for life from every animal organization and should never be permitted to own another animal, let alone have anything to do with any type of animals in personal or business dealings. Further, he should go to jail for a long, long time. But all that is unlikely. There will be no justice for these poor dogs.

The guy is definitely scum and if I ruled the world he'd be executed the same way he killed those poor dogs. But I do have to wonder where the owners of those dogs were while this was going on since he didn't own all the dogs he killed as I understand it. I hesitated to post this, since people may fly off the handle and think I am blaming the owners. I am NOT. They trusted their dog would be trained as promised. It just seems to me that it would be prudent to frequently check up on a dog sent somewhere for training.

Does the USA have a policy about cruelty? I'm a member but can't find anything specific about penalties for cruelty. If he were an AKC breeder or exhibitor he would be fined and banned for life from breeding and showing once he is convicted.

USA has no policy on anything related to ethics, cruelty etc. They cannot even write a policy on the use of e-collars without it being withdrawn. Don't count on any of these organizations to say squat, though they should make public statements condemning these types of situation regardless of the membership issue. But they don't and won't.

Sam, I understand what you are saying about owners, but some people are naive and too trusting. I train dogs here for people. I send video, photos and regularly have contact with owners, both in and out of state and the country. Further, I have others here, including club members who see the dogs routinely and see their condition. Taking someone elses' animal, in particular, is a sacred trust I make with that person to care for that animal as if it were my own beloved dog.

None the less, some people might ask and be put off when they ask about their dog, as was the case I mentioned before. It went on and on and on until the person finally posted here. Then the perp came here and lied and tried to bully the poster until others got involved, found out what the original complainant was saying was true and off it went from there. But in that situation, no organization, individuals, public or private, county officials etc., would do squat about it. In this case, the photos being made so public will drive this.

These people get away with nothing,  I believe what goes around come's around.

I've seen it work.   I trust in it.  They will pay in one way or another.

The public needs to know these people so they can be shunned from the human race, looked down on by all for the rest of thier live's.

And a hardy told ya so when they get thier due.

SSDD.
