Theyre getting the Bail Out Socialist program now, from OUR tax dollars. F*ck em. Tax em. Hang em. I dont care.

Meanwhile you & I pay 30% of all of OUR income to a Federal Reserve, which is a private cartel, that is Neither Federal NOR a reserve, but charges interest on printing US Currency from the US treasury. It is Unconstitutional & Illegal.

You mention 'minority students'.  What wrong with STUDENTS. Why affirmative action?  It doenst work. Why not judge someone on the merits & qualifications rather than their skin color?

Just to be clear, I too resent achievers in society, (and I consider myself one who grew up under abominable circumstances and managed to make something positive out of my life) being asked to foot the bill for those who did make "poor decisions", "beginning with not paying attention in school", "to working in entry-level jobs" because he/she was too lazy to learn anything new, "to taking the equity out of his house to go on shopping sprees" or dream vacations or those who beg some sort of disability and sit on their butt when, in fact, they could be doing something gainful. And there are plenty of other examples we could both mention.

I have no disagreement with you on this point. However, there are many, many who are not given the chance to be successful, starting at birth. I know because I was one of those people. I made it in part because of my own guts and the fact that I had a brain. I also made it because some people cared and came along at the right times in my life to help me grow up, get an outstanding education and then I made sure I got more and more and more education and as many skills as I could possibly learn. But it does not go that way for everyone. And yes, there are some who, for whatever reason, when given opportunities, choose to sit on their butt and not do much of anything. And often, yes, these are the same people who want more out of society.

Obama is from a background of a work ethic. He had nothing given to him. As he acknowledges, his grandmother went without to help see he got the help he needed. He did not receive handouts, just as I did not. But to spend $500,000 in Iraq for instance, on a pool for kids in Sadr City, when there are probably hundreds of thousands of inner city children in this country who have no such access, is insane. To see children and people like me who cannot afford medical care, when if I was an illegal alien I would get it, is shameful. To see elderly have to make a choice between medication and food is wrong. We like to think this is the great society, that all is fair and equitable, that we take care of those who are deserving, but it simply is not true.

Things need to be fixed and I simply do not see what some of you see in not listening and reading what Obama has said. Instead, it is as if people delight in speaking half truths and misunderstanding purposely what he has said. I think, for example, that the person who did not like the waiter with the Obama tie, and who then purposely told him she was taking his tip to give to the homeless man on the street was mean spirited and purposely misunderstands what must happen in this country to make people who are willing to work prosper. Further, it was rude and she did it because she was pissed that he disagreed with her.

I know many who are not making it, and they are working their butts off. I also know plenty of Americans who have forgotten what it is to have a work ethic, if indeed they ever had one. And this lack of work ethic crosses all ethnic and color lines.

No, don't take from those who earn it, but make the playing field level. That is not true at this point in history in this country and is certainly not true of the world.

Jesse Jackson has placed himself at the forefront of an online movement which claims that if McCain wins it will be the result of cheating. He calls for nationwide protests if McCain wins, according to a left-wing website.

Calls for “nationwide civil disobedience,” a “non-violent occupation of Washing DC,” and “mass protests” are growing like wildfire on left-wing Internet websites.

Now a “Pledge of Action” is being circulated and notorious race hustler [who by his own admission doesn't even like Barack Oboma] Rev. Jesse Jackson is allegedly one of the initial signers. This according to the far-left website nomorestolenelections.org.

The Pledge states that Republicans cheated in 2000 and 2004. It insinuates that Republicans will cheat in 2008, despite the fact that mass voter fraud is being uncovered and it is all from Oboma supporters.

The pledge reads…

“I remember Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, and I am willing to take action in 2008 if the election is stolen again.

I support efforts to protect the right to vote leading up to and on Election Day, November 4th.

I pledge to join nationwide pro-democracy protests starting on November 5th, either in my community, in key states where fraud occurred, or in Washington, D.C..

Jesse Jackson has long been accused of harboring jealously for not obtaining the fame that Martin Luther King obtained. This jealously appears to have manifested itself a few months ago when Jesse Jackson was recorded in the FOX News studio telling his son “Oboma’s been talking down to black people. Telling N!@@#$s how to behave. I’d like to cut his nuts off.”

Hodie, I can't disagree one bit.  Our daughter just entered university this year.  We're both in our 50's, and because of our income and small investments, we either help our daughter or we sit back and watch her take on a sizable debt.  We are far from what a reasonable person would call rich.  She did get quite a few scholarships, but tuition in today's world is mind-boggling.  There are far too many perks on the average college campus today, that are unnecessary frills.  Students do not need million dollar gymnasiums, nor fancy restaurants.  They need decent food and a good education.  

Frankly, the health care situation in this country is frightening.  Our system is being overwhelmed with people here illegally, who get healthcare the rest of us pay for.  If a person in this country has a pre-existing condition, he's in trouble if he loses his healthcare.  This is a huge problem.

However, do any of us really think the government, which is bloated and inefficient, and which does not even provide our veterans with decent health care, can really devise a system that will work for us all?  I see long lines and rationing in our future, which will impact the sick and the elderly most harshly.  Rationing will prevent those with chronic conditions from receiving any procedure that "costs too much".  Just watch.  Got cancer?  Well, sorry, but you will have to wait your turn for that biopsy, and no, you can't start chemo until 6 to 8 months from when we get the results.  

And, what of the really rich.  Oh, they'll be fine.  They'll simply go to India, or somewhere else with state of the art hospitals for their healthcare.  The rest of us will be out of luck, if we have the bad fortune to have a chronic, debilitating disease.

Baby Eagle, maybe you can answer this question about the NRA - if they are so damned concerned about the welfare of this country then why is all the merchandise they sell in Pro Bass Shops and other outlets made in Asia? My husband tried for months to find an NRA shooting vest made in the US; there are none. It almost looks like this organization has it's own hidden agendas too.

If we don't have the time or desire to get involved and change thing's ourselve's nothing will ever change and we will deserve what we get.

They know us well, and they will use this knowledge against us.
