So is this breeding down ???? Not our subject at hand. Maybe another thread.

Yes I have had an accident.

That is what this breeding was about?

I would sell them, or kill them, depends.    They might be great pups.   No way of knowing till later.

I just don't believe this to be a good breeding practice is all.   Accidents aside.

Sorry for the delay... I'm at work

I have no experience personally with breeding other breeds, but I've heard from several "old" breeders of puppies born without limbs and organs in some cases, when closely inbred.  So... I guess that covers the mysterious "they" for you? LOL

I've been lucky... never lost a pup, never even had a sick one but I haven't bred a shed load of pups either; breeding was never an income / money thing for me!

You mentioned the "pet thing", Jeff!

There is way more money in making pets, I understand this. But to have something dismissed without actual experience.........

I don't like the idea of inbreeding, but I am not knowledgeble enough to be against it. For those that make the statment that there is a lot of good dogs out there sure I agree with you, but only maybe 1% can produce something close to what they are or actually better (remaining are just a paper dogs, looks nice on a paper that's about it), I wonder why that is? I see every day add's (including on here) blowing into a sky a producer, or breeding pair, always talking about accomplishment of dogs in its pedigree or hardly ever any good accomplishment of the actual breeding pair, we all buy in on the idea that this is what we will get just to find out that most of them don't cut it :). So maybe inbreeding is not totaly bad if you know your lines and know what you are doing :) just an idea, like I said I am not pro nor against. :) BTW inbreeding happens in nature every day for some reason it works out better for them than for humans :).
